Bagno Elena offers the perfect Mediterranean getaway in Naples. Swimming is enhanced by the aesthetics of the place. I appreciate the comfort of the deckchairs on the wooden patio and the opportunity to eat and drink on site thanks to the extensive bar menu.

An ideal beach for taking a break from museum visits and other activities, and for enjoying a truly Neapolitan atmosphere. Very few tourists (even in August), and a particularly well-located spot.

I had such a wonderful time at Bogno Elena Beach Club! 🌊☀️ It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sea while still feeling the lively atmosphere of the area. The beach is always buzzing with energy, yet it’s easy to find your own space to unwind. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are well kept. Whether you want to lounge in the sun, take a swim, or just soak in the vibrant vibe, this place has it all. A great choice if you’re looking for a mix of relaxation and excitement — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Yes, it's a nice beach resort, nothing more, it's a shame that it closes at 5:30pm, the best time to be on the beach.

Pros: near the Naples, easily accessible by public transport or even on foot.
Cons: dirty(both sand and water), expensive (€15/pp August ‘25 + €15 for umbrella), closes at 17:30.

Private beach, which is paid, but the price corresponds to the quality and services provided. Beautiful view, cozy.

Let's put it this way: €15 for a sun lounger might seem like a lot... if you live here and your monthly salary is €1,000 or less. I totally understand the locals grumbling.
But reading some reviews from American or German tourists complaining? Really? You're on vacation! You flew for miles and then you just do the math?
My experience was enchanting. The staff were kind and smiling, the food at the restaurant on the adult platform was perfectly prepared and presented (and yes, with a picture-perfect sea view).
The beach? Crowded. But guess what? It's summer, it's 40 degrees, and we're in Naples! Who cares? The water was just the right amount of warm, clear, and the sand wasn't at all the "ashtray" some people talk about.
Management tip: A special price for residents of Naples and the Vesuvian communities—say, €8 for adults and €5 after 2:30 PM—would be a nice gesture. I'd gladly pay the difference as a guest of the city.
For everyone else… guys, relax. You're on the beach. Come on.

Yes, it's a real shame that the pools close at 5:30 p.m. (in August!!!). The beach is littered with cigarette butts, and litter isn't removed during your stay. Loungers are constantly being removed (early afternoon). Otherwise, it's still better than the public Rotonda Diaz beach. The price is obviously expensive; we always go there after 2 p.m., when a lounger is only €10.

Well, not bad, but they could provide nicer facilities with 10 Euro per sun-bed…. and paying additional 12 for an umbrella which was covering just half a bed (and you couldn’t move it, or there was no space to move the beds too) was not quite fair.
