I needed to satisfy my craving for boiled meat, and I'd been looking for a restaurant that offered a trolley with all the cuts without having to leave my home. So, after searching around, I found Agostino Campari's restaurant. The restaurant offers a trolley of mixed boiled meats and roasts. I tried all the boiled meat cuts, and I must say they were all really good; they reminded me so much of my grandmother's cooking. In fact, the atmosphere itself aims to transport us back to and maintain a certain connection with the past, and it succeeds well, without being too "retro." In fact, the restaurant has been updated, while retaining some antique furnishings, such as the truly beautiful glass display cases. The two dining rooms are very welcoming, with a touch of refinement. The staff is kind and friendly, and above all, I want to highlight the kindness of the owners who welcomed us at the entrance. One negative was the slightly lengthy service, and the price was a bit high for what we ate. All in all, I recommend this place if you want to stay in the Milan area to try a good bollito misto.

Classic historical place out of Milan. Lovely bolliti and roasts, also great antipasti mix and a very fair wine list. Friendly courteous service. If you're the last table to arrive though, and most people have the bolliti/arrosti.. It does take rather long before they get to you. Solution, next time I'll book an earlier table.!

Fantastic experience. Courteous and professional yet family-friendly service, an elegant atmosphere, and a superb menu. Mr. Agostino, a rock in the kitchen, has maintained traditional recipes with intelligent innovations. I'll be back soon to try a variety of dishes.

Historic restaurant in Abbiategrasso. Famous for its boiled meats and roasts. Elegant atmosphere, excellent service. I'm giving it three stars for the price. Regardless of the location, it's what you eat that counts. A bottle of wine, almost €40, is fine—you can't judge—but an appetizer, I mean, one shared between two, consisting of salami, cotechino, "brusc" (meaning pickles), meatballs, and little else, two portions of boiled meat...we're talking tongue, trotters, and classic boiled meat cuts, and a dessert with chestnuts and a scoop of ice cream, €150...well...I'm still perplexed. Very much so. Maybe they're animals raised for caviar and champagne, I don't know...but let's look at the dish. A humble dish par excellence...poor once upon a time, perhaps...now it's the stuff of the rich!!

This historic restaurant in Abbiategrasso was a favorite with my grandfather as a child, then with my dad, and now it's always a favorite when I'm in the area. The atmosphere is quiet and refined, and the Milanese cuisine is always the same, but always updated. The boiled meats and roasts are excellent, although this time I had the mondeghili and a delicious Milanese-style risotto. The Campari sorbet was very original and delicious. The price was fair for what we ordered. I need to go back more often.

Ristorante Pizzeria Taormina

07/03/2026: Perhaps one of the best pizzerias, the service is excellent and the quality is good. The staff was very helpful and the waiters were all friendly. The space is well organized and easy to navigate. The food is very good and the pizzas are generous in size, so it's a good value. I would definitely go back.

La Cucina: non il solito ristorante

03/02/2026: An experience to remember We visited La Cucina: it's not your average restaurant, and we can confirm: it's not like any other. An intimate atmosphere, obsessive attention to detail, and cuisine that combines technique, flavor, and identity. It begins with a brief welcome from the chef, followed by a selection of artisanal house baked goods (truly remarkable), and from there it's a crescendo: carefully crafted, clean, surprising dishes, with quality ingredients and intelligent pairings. Each course has a purpose; nothing is there "for show." The service is attentive and attentive, the timing is perfect, and you can sense true passion in every step. If you're looking for a special evening, elegant but not stuffy, this is the place. We'll be back. And we recommend it to anyone who wants an experience, not just "eating out."
02/02/2026: Their menu only has Italian, no English, so be sure to bring a translation app. We ordered the set menu shown in the picture. My favorite dish was the second course, Come Un Roast Beef, with beef, tuna puree, and mushrooms—the flavors blended perfectly. The two pastas that followed were excellent: one was penne with chief homemade tomato sauce, which was very good; the other was orzo with minced beef, diced onions, and cheese—it was very fragrant at first bite, but personally, I found it a bit too salty. The desserts were all delicious, with distinctly Italian ingredients and preparation methods. They weren't overly sweet, which is the highest praise I could give them. Chief was also very friendly. After asking where we were from, he encouraged us to write our review in our own language for a more authentic experience. Overall, it was a very good experience; both the ambiance and the food are highly recommended.
