I don't know how many times I've been to Barbesina over the years, through my work. I've photographed many weddings, baptisms, and parties, and I know the place very well. Surrounded by nature, with a staff that I'd say is nothing short of exceptional. Helpful, kind, and top-notch, as was the food.

We chose this enchanting place as our wedding venue and we couldn't have made a better choice. Every detail was taken care of to perfection! The Cascina is also ideal for organizing the various stages of the wedding both inside and outside, so you don't have to sacrifice anything. Margherita and Katia are two impeccable professionals, and we can't thank them enough for making our day so special! ✨

A charming location, meticulously maintained, elegant and sophisticated without being overly flashy. We celebrated my second granddaughter's baptism and had a wonderful time. The service was impeccable. The staff was truly kind and professional. Unfortunately, that's a rarity these days. The cuisine was exquisite, from the welcome buffet to the sorbet. Truly excellent. Congratulations.

20/10/2025: Tried it on October 18th for dinner. Despite having booked two days in advance, we had to wait half an hour before being seated. As a partial excuse, I must say that it was Saturday, right in the heart of Pavia's nightlife, so a bit of a wait is to be expected. The staff were friendly, service was fairly quick, and the menu offered a wide selection of both fish and meat dishes (I personally had the seafood salad, which I rate as 5-star, and a 4-seasons pizza). They also had a wide selection of wood-fired pizzas (including pan pizzas, which they call baby), and a good selection of desserts. Drinks were also plentiful (wines, beers). Since we also did takeout, the wait for pizza was longer than usual.
12/10/2025: We often come back for the pizza. In the summer, it's a marvel outside, in the heart of Pavia. The service is fairly quick, and the owner is very kind. As for the way the meat is cooked, I'd rather be in a church. 😁 Overall, we like it, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars more than deserved.
