A quaint trattoria near Allumiere, in the La Bianca area. A place where you can admire a beautiful view from the terrace, where you can dine from spring to autumn. But above all, the food and the family welcome make your meal a pleasant experience. The fettuccine with meat sauce, the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, and the hot antipasto are noteworthy. The highlights are the wild boar cacciatore and the lamb chops. The homemade donuts are a must. A must try!

The food is quite good; the fettuccine with mushrooms is very good, the cured meats are tasty... the portions are perhaps a little smaller than other places in the area, and they're also a little more expensive. For a €120 bill, they even offered us a coffee, sigh. The interior is a bit dated, perhaps in need of modernization, from the lights in the windows, to the outside carport where they park their cars, which is built with materials that need replacing...

27/03/2025: Das ist auch so ein Restaurant wo man sehr gut essen kann, es eine gute Weinkarte gibt und man herzlich begrüßt und sehr freundlich den ganzen Abend bedient wird. Sämtliche Gänge waren sehr gut und geschmacklich optimal abgestimmt. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet und es herrscht eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir haben auch in anderen sehr guten Lokalen im Stadteil Trastevere gegessen, dass war aber für uns das beste. Auf Grund der sehr guten Qualität haben wir auch schon für den nächsten Tag reserviert was wir sonst ganz selten machen. Gerne geben wir dafür 5⭐️
26/02/2025: Locale accogliente, personale molto gentile, cibo ottimo. Pasta alla gricia superba così come la trippa romana, le polpette ed un ottimo vino frascati. Siamo rimasti molto contenti. Lo consiglio!

24/01/2026: As always, it's a pleasure to return to this restaurant. Excellent dishes, welcoming service, and the perfect atmosphere for a romantic dinner: even the background music (always discreet and classy, ​​from Bill Evans to Chet Baker, Stan Getz, and Joao Gilberto) adds to the pleasure of spending an evening at Le Cicale di Veio.
