I went for lunch at Da Rischio, a delightful trattoria located in a hamlet between Allumiere and Tolfa, with some friends, and it was a truly enjoyable experience! The welcome is warm and the staff is kind and helpful. The food is excellent: generous, carefully prepared, and flavorful dishes, made with authentic ingredients and a great attention to tradition. The location is quaint, with its Russian pine slats, although some details could use a bit of a makeover. I'll definitely be back!

We finally found someone who knows how to cook land snails. They were excellent. The helpfulness and courtesy were also great, which never hurts when you go to a new restaurant for the first time. We also tried other local specialties, like the bread and the pizza brodosa, which were excellent.

An honest trattoria in the Bianca district (in the Allumiere area); we stopped by on a crowded evening. The appetizers were generous and varied, but of average quality. The first courses weren't exceptional, but the meat was good. The dessert platter and the vin santo were delicious. Reasonable prices.

The place is nice and welcoming and has a large covered terrace, from which you can enjoy a very beautiful view and ... the gaze extends to the sea. It offers a cuisine mainly inspired by the tradition of the lower Maremma. The dishes are simple, but absolutely genuine. We ate a very tasty appetizer: we were struck by the extraordinary tripe, the exquisite beans and the excellent bruschetta of Allumiere bread, seasoned with an equally good oil. The first courses were also interesting: we really appreciated the excellent ravioli with Maremma ragù and the less exciting gnocchi with asparagus and artichokes. The mix of desserts was very pleasant ... the tart with sour cherries was delicious! The staff is kind and efficient. The quality/price ratio is very good.
We will return!
... and we returned, finding this time also an excellent and genuine cuisine. The meat (beef steak and lamb scottadito) is excellent and the girasoli (ravioli with cheese and walnuts) seasoned with porcini mushrooms or butter and sage were also very tasty.
