I had the pizza; super buffalo mozzarella: mozzarella and prosciutto after baking. Definitely good. For dessert, try the baked gelato. Besides being delicious, the tableside preparation is original, complete with a final "flambaïté."

A different Christmas Eve than usual with bingo during dinner, a great initiative and fun for the kids. Plus, the food was good, excellent pizza.

Il Grotto del Sorriso

16/12/2025: Years ago in Cassano, people would go to San Giuseppe, where there was a bar, play bocce, and dance outside in the summer. Today, there's this wonderful Grotto del Sorriso, which, in addition to its important social impact, is a truly valuable restaurant. You can eat well at reasonable prices, and the service is exceptional. You can also buy the cooperative's products, and the proceeds help the young people who, despite their varying challenges, work together to deliver excellent results. Considering Cassano's limited restaurant options, the Grotto is a place that combines ethics, variety, flavor, pleasure, and indulgence!
07/12/2025: You don't just come here to eat well, but to feel welcomed. A peaceful atmosphere, wonderful people, and dishes that convey care and quality. A restaurant that demonstrates how inclusion can be a tangible added value. Definitely worth a try!

04/03/2026: We were there on a Saturday evening, so it was very, very crowded. Consequently, the noise level was also quite high, and if you'd like to have a quiet conversation, I wouldn't recommend going on a weekend. But the food was fantastic. It tasted freshly made and looked amazing. The prices are a bit higher than you'd expect from a sushi restaurant in Italy, but you definitely get much better quality. I'd say it's the best sushi in the area.
28/02/2026: I highly recommend it. Be careful, though: the prices aren't typical Chinese restaurants because the menu is à la carte.
