As always – a top spot in Syracuse. Roberto is the best host ever. There's always a great atmosphere here, and you get to chat with lots of really fun people. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

It was worth a try, but there are much better pizza places nearby. I had a Pizzoli, which was quite bland in flavor and unfortunately far too expensive. The others had regular pizzas and weren't impressed either. The service was good, though.

Osteria da Mamma Carla

29/09/2025: As soon as we disembarked from the ferry, in the historic center of Piombino we found this osteria where we were welcomed warmly. The menu offers land or sea options with affordable options and a good selection of wines. The Maremmana steak and porchetta won over our palates, highly recommended.
19/09/2025: Informal, osteria-like atmosphere. The food quality is average (some dishes are better than others), portions are small, and it's more gourmet than osteria-like. The waiters are very friendly, but the service is generally slow and chaotic.
