Typical Roman village tavern, in the historic and popular Quarticciolo. Excellent tripe with mint, nice boiled quail eggs with anchovies and pepper, delicious supplì. The quail is absolutely worth tasting, served with mushrooms and olives and accompanied by chicory, sautéed or sour. Decent house wine, a simple and sincere Sangiovese also drunk with dipped tozzetti.
Friendly and helpful owner, there were 3 of us, on a Sunday at 2.40pm without a reservation and despite it being full, in 10 minutes he set up an outdoor table for us under the wonderful sun on a beautiful February day, we were the last to leave, almost at 4pm and they didn't put any pressure on us, on the contrary hospitable and friendly until the end. Excellent value for money with rounding up to the bill, always a welcome gesture. I will certainly return.

Excellent Roman cuisine in the Quarticciolo.
Supplied with excellent espressos, as they used to be made at home, mint-scented tripe, excellent rigatoni with strawata and quail to finish.
Not good bulk red wine, a few more bottles wouldn't hurt to accompany an excellent dinner.
However, the move to the peripheral area is certainly worth it.

Roberto is a skilled host and knows how to welcome guests with genuineness.
The environment is spartan and "homely", very welcoming and with essential comforts.
The dishes are "authentic", exquisite and succulent, carbonara and cacio e pepe are unrivalled, the quails are worth trying.
