We stumbled upon it by chance after reading the reviews. The staff were very welcoming, the owner was incredibly kind, and she made you feel at home right away. And what can I say? The food was sublime. My compliments to these people, and I can't recommend anyone in the area enough to stop by!

Found it almost by accident while browsing Maps... a very cute place, a family atmosphere, and Mrs. Raffaella enthusiastically explained the menu to us... the food was divine!!! We highly recommend it... try it and believe it! We'll be back soon for dinner with friends...

A family-run place...one of those old-fashioned ones...where everything is well-crafted, the dishes are delicious and presented in a kind and inviting way by one of the housewives. Good prices. A more than decent location with a garden. Parking.

Everything was fantastic. Welcoming service. The gnocchi and cjarsons were amazing. The cheeks were a bit calloused. The desserts were excellent.

Returning from Udine with the idea of ​​strolling around Palmanova, after booking a few days in advance and being lucky enough to find a table, we stopped at Al Quadrifoglio, just three minutes from Palmanova itself. We were looking for a restaurant serving traditional Friulian dishes and were very pleased. We were welcomed by the kind and smiling Raffaella and her staff in a simple yet elegant setting. She carefully explained to us all the dishes they prepare, using locally sourced ingredients and with great respect for seasonality. The cuisine is primarily local, with a modern twist without being overly elaborate. Every dish was excellent, and I personally particularly like the goose leg. Game cured meats, frico and Montasio cheese, wild boar ragù, and homemade pasta. Everything was truly excellent. Good quality local wines (including in bulk) and a reasonable price (about €40 per person for two courses, including soft drinks, coffee, and a digestif). A restaurant where you can sense the passion they put into their cooking. Highly recommended.

A restaurant just steps from Palmanova. A very family-friendly atmosphere, this historic trattoria has been passed down from mother to daughter since 1913. The modest space, seating 70 with an outdoor garden, contributes to the "good things of the past" atmosphere. Raffaella, the perfect host, one of the owners, welcomes you and explains the entire seasonal menu, featuring select ingredients and numerous Slow Food products. Extremely kind and friendly. We personally enjoyed mixed antipasti with Slow Food Presidia (cheese, cured meats, crostini, etc.), gnocchi, selected toppings of wild boar ragù, goose sauce, pumpkin gnocchi in a Montasio basket with grated cheese on top, gnocchi with a garlic stalk, San Daniele prosciutto, and walnuts—all top-notch. For main courses, wild boar cheeks, goose leg cooked in the November tradition in a baking dish, Frico with polenta, and a side of cavolo nero with pine nuts. All very good. Both Refosco and Friulano wine are sold at a very reasonable price (8 euros), along with homemade desserts, coffee, grappa, and pelincovach. All this for under 40 euros, all well-deserved. Highly recommended. An experience that immerses you in Friulian culture.
