They've just turned 20, and it's a landmark in the city center. There's a lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, an excellent wine selection, and good food at truly competitive prices. The atmosphere is lovely in the summer, with tables outside on the street (closed to traffic) and jazz concerts.

On Friday evening, I returned with friends to Punto d'ascolto, a longtime favorite for aperitivo in Moncalieri. The friendly atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff are a welcome reaffirmation. The tapas menu, paired with excellent wines and drinks, offers delicious and imaginative surprises. Dessert doesn't disappoint either: special mention for the cheesecake, which, with its artisanal coulisse, elevates it a notch (maybe two) above the average, made up of industrial toppings. Well done Alberto and the staff!
