Seeing how many men, women, children and animals come here, on foot or by boat, you must eat very well. And then you are in the middle of nature, I would say uncontaminated or at least not much. There are many goats and soldiers, because I believe the islet is under the concession of the Ministry of Defense. However, for those who love walking it is a beautiful experience, for those coming from the sea, the same.

Today we ate very well, excellent pasta with clams, stuffed mussels as they should be made, highly recommended, very kind waitresses both at the bar and in the restaurant, and Ciro who makes everyone feel special, everything was truly excellent, thank you for your hospitality.

A terrace overlooking the sea of the Gulf of Poets. On the island of Palmaria. The location is suggestive, after sunset. It is a trattoria, which has changed management, the service team has been organized but the raw materials of the dishes offered are of low quality. I would focus on fresh La Spezia muscles! , beautiful Spaghetatte, stewed muscles with local lemons, well-made stuffed muscles, and lots and lots of La Spezia focaccia!

Eravamo in tre e senza prenotazione, ma ci hanno fatto accomodare lo stesso e servito. Il posto è veramente bello, con il mare a tre metri. C'è anche il bar, ancora più fresco, dove si può pranzare anche lì. Consigliato. Noi ci ritorneremo.

The experience didn't start very well: despite booking for 1.30pm, we were seated after 2.10pm.
The place overall was not well organized and the staff struggled to manage the turnout; However, I noticed consistency, commitment, availability and above all smiles among the staff, which struck me positively.
After ordering, we were immediately brought a mixed fried dish with a temperature that was decidedly not that of a recently prepared dish. All in all, however, the latter was good (the portion however not very large compared to the price). The courses arrived very staggered from each other (even though there were nine of us) and one diner had finished lunch before the others started.
Subsequently I received the gnocchi with scampi, which I would rename “Gnocchetti with cream and scampi” (easy to understand why). In addition to the large amount of dairy products, the gnocchi were not good, I found them floury and unusually chewy. The only advantage of the dish: the scampi which were plentiful and good.
To conclude: the restaurant needs very little to make a decisive leap in quality, from a mediocre restaurant to a good restaurant tending towards excellent. I have the sincere hope that management will take inspiration from constructive criticism to improve the experience for patrons.

Piacevole serata, trascorsa in famiglia, in questa romantica location sull'isolotto della Palmaria, di fronte alle luci di Portovenere. Da ricordare, specie per i bimbi, la caratteristica traversata con il gommone, un servizio su prenotazione garantito dalla struttura ad un prezzo congruo.
Cena naturalmente a base di pesce, fresco, con porzioni nella norma per gli antipasti ed i primi saporiti. Consigliata la grigliata di mare (anche se per questa si deve aspettare un pò). Buona carta dei vini. Siamo stati bene.
