As always, a must-visit at Portichetto. The pizza is excellent, as are the homemade desserts. Custanz remains a cornerstone of the upper Maira Valley. <3

This is an authentic Italian restaurant. It has good wines, the food is traditional, and the owner becomes increasingly friendly the more you try to speak Italian.

The pizza is very good! Stop! That evening we were clearly told "only pizza" and that's fine! For the rest there would be a lot to work on, especially on courtesy.

It's a very simple restaurant, but when people say Wal Meira doesn't welcome visitors, they've probably done something wrong themselves. The owners are gone, getting on in years, and I've rarely seen someone so attentive to their guests, especially the children who were there. A restaurant that, in my opinion, is almost exclusively frequented by locals. The pizzas are fantastic. The two elderly people can't conjure up anything more, but what they do there is very, very good.
