Il Porticciolo In Ponza

We had dinner at the Porticciolo two evenings ago, I had booked a table for two a few days before and the availability only for 8.00 pm I confess had initially made me fear a little (in Rome often, in these cases, after the dessert they kindly make you understand that it's time to clear the table, perhaps with a generous offering of the house amaro/limoncello). Well... nothing could be further from the experience I had, which I would like to say was truly wonderful and relaxing. The very kind girl who took our orders (and recommended it!), the owner, immediately explained to us the reasons for the availability of the table at such an early time, that is, reconciling the customer's needs for tranquility with the cooking times, dictated by the large number of reservations (a large group was arriving a little later), so as to avoid excessive waiting or, worse, the arrival of the various courses too close to each other. In the end our meal lasted for about 2.5 hours without being the least bit tiring (as the duration might suggest!), in fact we relaxed a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the various courses of fresh fish we ordered, until the excellent dessert. In short, a wonderful experience, we had arrived in Ponza only a few hours before and it allowed us to fully enter the "relax & fun" mood that we needed so much, on our next visit to the island we will definitely return to have dinner here.

I was there for the first evening with my girlfriend, we had such a good time that we decided to return for a second evening too. The restaurant staff is truly impeccable, Mrs. Luigina makes you feel at home, it's really super pleasant to talk to her. Excellent food, unique atmosphere and environment. We will definitely be back.

We arrived a little late and found a friendly and welcoming environment, the table was ready and waiting for us as was the restaurant staff. Accompanied in the choice of first and second courses we opted for a seafood appetizer based on mussels and prawns and a sea bass cooked in different variations. One of us preferred the octopus and from the first bite we could feel the freshness of the cephalopod. After the meal, accompanied by a good selected bottle of wine, coffee, desserts and bitters, we spent a pleasant evening between friendly chatter and little anecdotes together with the kind owner Luigina, an exquisite person. The single shift format was much appreciated, allowing us to spend a peaceful and quiet evening without having to keep up with the timetable, forgetting about the clock and enjoying the splendid view from the restaurant's terrace.

Fantastic venue and staff, excellent food. One of the best restaurants in Ponza if not the best. We'll be back

Locale con vista spettacolare, personale cordiale, titolare dell' attività gentilissima e attenta alle esigenze del cliente, a fine serata si è addirittura presentata. Cibo ottimo, ben impiattato. Si sono preoccupate anche del fumo di sigaretta dei clienti, che arrivava al nostro tavolo..Tutto favoloso,hanno reso una serata romantica. Ci ritorneremo volentieri. Lo consiglio.

Super professional and very kind staff. Beautiful and well-kept location. Excellent food. It really deserves a lot especially for the courtesy of the staff and the simple cuisine but with very fresh and excellent products. Go there!!

Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante in zona porto a Ponza. La location è molto bella e romantica. Consiglio uno dei tre tavoli panoramici vicino al muretto, con visuale sul porto. Le pietanze sono ben cucinate e gli ingredienti sono di qualità. Il pesce è fresco. Il servizio è molto attento e la proprietaria Luigina è simpaticissima e gentilissima. Il conto è in linea con la qualità offerta e la location.
