I discovered this restaurant in 2014....the chef is still Antonio, and his dishes captivate every diner's palate...and what can I say about Luigina, who always welcomes you with a smile and great professionalism. You are one of a kind!

Magical place… Luigina, the owner of the place, served us for two evenings (we decided to return the following evening) with impeccable care and professionalism… the quality of the raw fish, the view of the port, the kindness in even letting us taste two wines, given our indecision… everything was perfect… flavors and kindness from another era… thank you

We came to Ponza for a short vacation, we had dinner at this restaurant which I recommend to everyone for the excellent quality of the food, the courtesy of the staff and the sweetness of the owner. If you come to Ponza you cannot miss dinner at this restaurant. I truly recommend it.

What a chance we discovered this restaurant. Luigina, the owner, welcomed us with old-fashioned kindness. What can I say about the food: incredibly fresh raw fish and perfectly prepared first courses. Eating at Porticciolo is like being at home, thanks in part to the owner's passion for it, a rarity these days. Highly recommended.

Dining at Mrs. Luigina's restaurant is perhaps the most exquisite experience the island has to offer. I say "experience" because spending a couple of hours there is a cure for the soul. The flavors of the raw fish, the typical trofie from "il porticciolo," the locally produced wine, the sea bream with lemon, the aromas, and the atmosphere all contribute to creating a magic that lingers in your mind and heart. I thank Mrs. Luigina and her staff for investing their all into creating an unforgettable place.

Il Porticciolo was a wonderful discovery, chosen by chance, and it did not disappoint! The dinner was impeccable, with the freshest raw seafood and fish! A mix of simplicity and originality! All this was accompanied by a romantic and evocative location, and all accompanied by a pleasant chat with Luigina, who puts the customer at ease and knows how to offer the right advice! We will definitely be back very soon!

We came to Ponza in 2019, choosing Il Porticciolo to try, and we were very pleased. We returned to Ponza this year, and it was our first choice, exceeding our expectations. We ate deliciously, and the portions were generous. The service was impeccable, with great customer service. If you come to Ponza, I highly recommend stopping here.

If you're in Ponza, you can't miss Il Porticciolo restaurant! We'd asked for dinner the night before, but unfortunately there was no room. They asked us to leave our number, and the next morning they contacted us to say they'd managed to find a place for us. Sublime food, impeccable hospitality, and impeccable service from not only the owner, Luigina (whose love and passion for her work shines through), but also from the entire staff. Intimate and relaxing atmosphere overlooking the harbor. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening! Five stars are too few!

25/01/2026: We went to this place to spend a pleasant evening with my boyfriend, and what can I say...everything was simply superb, from the welcome we received to the atmosphere. It's a small place, but the saying "good things come in small packages." We were served, or rather, "pampered" by the waiter, who, from what I understand, is the son, and was disarmingly professional and kind. We started with an appetizer of exceptional culatello di zimbello accompanied by various types of bread made on site and some fried Iberian ham. We then opted for a second course, skipping the first course for quantity reasons. We chose a 1.3 kg Chianina T-bone with a side of baked potatoes. The meat is accompanied by three different types of salt and local rosemary-flavored oil. Everything—and I mean everything—lived up to expectations, so much so that we also decided to opt for two desserts with coffee and an after-dinner drink. We'll definitely be back. A 20 out of 10. PS. The bill was €170 for two people, but it was completely justified. I was happy to spend my money on this service.
18/01/2026: A very welcoming little place, excellent service, and meticulously selected ingredients. The meat is of excellent quality and tender, and the music is well-chosen. Overall, an experience worth trying.
