Il Porticato In Pizzo

We came twice for a family dinner within a week. Both times we had to wait at least 45 minutes for the pizzas, even though the place wasn’t really full or too busy. The pizza itself was okay - nothing special, but not bad either. The location is nice, directly at the main piazza but the area is on a small hill so the tables and chairs are a little uneven which can be annoying the longer the stay

Reluctantly, I'm giving the pizza a two-star rating. It's not the pizza everyone loved when I lived down there. The dough didn't rise properly, and the ingredients weren't top-quality. Once upon a time, the pizza would arrive like a cartwheel, so you could tell it was coming off the plate, but nice and crispy. Now it's just a classic pizza, which has even caused some of us digestive problems and a hellish thirst all night, but not because of the excessive salt. I'm truly sorry.

I had dinner at this restaurant this evening and was extremely satisfied. Mrs. Milena was very kind, well-prepared, and courteous. I hope to return soon.

Excellent pizzeria in the heart of Pizzo Calabro, a very central location where you can dine at the outdoor tables next to the main street lined with small shops. Despite being a very touristy spot, the pizzeria offers quality food. I had the pleasure of enjoying an excellent pizza, and the staff was kind enough to find us a table even though we hadn't booked. Very positive review.

Excellent food, super friendly, and fast service despite the crowds. We tried both the pasta dishes and the pizza. Everything was delicious. We recommend the Calabrian fileja (for those who like spicy food) and the seafood carbonara! It's a shame we only discovered this restaurant on the last night of our vacation!

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant in the center of Pizzo. Wood-fired pizza and excellent pasta dishes were served. The prices were very reasonable. Service was quick despite the restaurant being full, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our vacation is over, otherwise we would have definitely returned.

The pizza was very average and salty, and they got our order wrong. The customer service also leaves much to be desired, with zero interest.

When I'm on holiday in Tropea, and I take a trip to Pizzo Calabria, I always eat pizza here. The dough is very light and the pizzas are good. The staff is courteous, professional and polite. The pizzeria also has a characteristic appearance.

Entrato a caso, locale spartano di contro serve una buona pizza , ingredienti come qualità nella norma, servizio senza lode senza infamia , pizza con cornicione basso che esce abbondantemente fuori dal piatto buona la lievitazione leggera e digeribile , prezzo nella norma

Prima serata in Calabria con cena così così....purtoppo lo spada alla griglia scelto da me è rimasto duro e la grigliata mista di mio marito migliore ma non da posto di mare. Insalata verde servita molto fredda, buone le verdure grigliate e il pane. Peccato ! Locale datato ma caratteristico e carino, personale molto gentile. Abbiamo rimediato con la vista del borgo alto in una bella sera di quasi primavera .
