Trattoria-pizzeria with a refined and chic style. Good pizza, especially the Calabrian one with 'n duja and Tropea onions, and excellent swordfish with caponata. Service was a bit slow, but that was justified by the fact that the place was busy. Prices are quite high.

Magnificent restaurant. This is my second year in Parghelia, and Portale is my go-to place for a proper dinner. Excellent food, welcoming staff, top-quality ingredients, and incredibly affordable prices—the best place to eat in the area. I highly recommend it. Try it and believe it.

We have returned to this restaurant several times, everything is excellent. Fresh fish, good first courses and also very good pizza. Perfect service, fast and super friendly and kind staff, ready to advise you on the best.

28/07/2025: An appetizer, two first courses, and a second course, which we didn't even have time to take a picture of because it was so delicious. The atmosphere and service were excellent. The food was amazing: fresh, high-quality fish. It's now a regular stop.

22/08/2025: Excellent restaurant in the historic streets of Tropea! Romantic yet down-to-earth atmosphere 🫶🏼, incredibly kind and friendly staff, IMPECCABLE food, unbeatable catch of the day with their capone this evening, unsurpassed fried fish as an appetizer, the best in Tropea. Even the accompanying fries were perfect, excellent wine, you must try the typical Calabrian Kaciuto amaro! 10 out of 10 forever, it's the sixth year we've been back and they haven't put a foot wrong!!! A round of applause to those who love catering like them!!
20/08/2025: We stopped casually without reservationtet the staff was able to accommodate us immediately. We particularly appreciated the honest and straightforward advice on the menu and wine selection. Food was great!
