Not only was the chicken excellent, but I was also struck by the honesty of the owner, who spontaneously offered me a half-price reduction because it was smaller! I would have ordered it anyway, but… I wouldn't have written this review!

At POLLETTO I probably had the best roast chicken in the last 20 years. Perfectly roasted, wonderfully seasoned, and, most importantly, clearly homemade. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and Roberto is incredibly hospitable. While working, he sings, adding to the charm of the whole experience.

Panificio La Maggiore (via Gravina)

29/11/2025: I feel compelled to write this review. They have truly excellent quality products. And another huge plus (which is a little hard to find these days) is the friendliness and honesty of the owner. He's truly a good guy. I go there specifically from Matera because it's worth it. Thanks
