The restaurant is in a beautiful location, with a fairly panoramic view of Lake Endine. The place is simple but very well-kept and clean. I had an unorganized lunch because I was passing through, and I have to say it wasn't excellent. The casoncelli (small pasta) numbered 10 on the plate. The house antipasto was nothing special except for the cold cuts, green olives (very commercial), garlic (which isn't really Bergamo-style), and bruschetta made with tomato sauce and cold polenta crostini straight from the fridge. I think with a few small adjustments, it would have been tastier. A menu choice very much like a foreign tourist... Quite disappointing. The price was right for the type of meal.

A family lunch, a Friday in July, we opted for the workers' menu at €12, first course, second course, side dish, water or wine and coffee. Excellent quality food, very well cooked, I tried all the second courses, today there was veal with tuna sauce, very good, roast beef, superb and a delicious cod and parsley potatoes. The choice is between three first courses and three second courses and 5 side dishes, the roast potatoes were superb and the courgettes grilled to perfection. The dishes were unseasoned and the dressing (a good oil) was brought to the table, so that we could season as we liked (I really appreciated it). Simplicity, taste, quality (exceptional meat), but also speed and courtesy in the service, make this restaurant one of our new favourite places. We also really appreciated the internal parking, since we had the camper very loaded with bikes too. I wasn't crazy about the coffee... but I would say that this experience still deserves maximum stars!

Discovered by chance, it is a place I would certainly return to. The quality of the dishes is good, the value for money is unbeatable. Right portions. The style is that of a trattoria, consistent with the name.

Good, it's been a while since I went but I have to assure you that you always eat well, very good home cooking at a fair price, I recommend it

Trattoria IL Poggio Dei Valaperta..opens at 12.00 and closes at 2.30..to reopen at dinner time. It is located in via Del Poggio 205 ... in Ranzanico, province of Bergamo. I managed to find it thanks to Google Maps... I stopped for lunch... and I must admit that for me it was a nice unexpected surprise, because the place is really very beautiful nestled in the valleys and with a spectacular view of Lake Endine. The restaurant is located on the ground floor, after climbing 8 steps very easily, which lead to a 3-storey house with an outdoor terrace with a roof... and a beautiful internal room. Outside with an unparalleled lake view we find a large car park, once inside you realize that here the welcome and kindness are at home. I'll say straight away that at lunch time the cost is very cheap in fact the menu is around 12 euros with first course, second course and side dish, and for this reason I recommend it for those who love lunch during a trip. Among the dishes we find... starter, grilled steak with baked potatoes, chicken skewer, sliced ​​beef, ravioli and ricotta and spinach, water and wine are on the side. While in the evening for dinner, from what I read... the cost for families or groups of friends is around 30-40 euros with excellent dishes, fried food and desserts, all of excellent quality.

Every time it proves welcoming and quality. For us a must stop when we are in the area. Advised!
