IL PIZZA In Campiglia marittima

Pizzeria in a beautiful setting. Good pizza, but I think the ingredients could use some rethinking.

Excellent pizza and really cheap! Just a little detail, you see into plastic cups and eat from the pizza box but it's really nice!

Well, to be honest, we were a bit hesitant. I don't know if the opening hours on Google are correct. It says open from 6 p.m., and we were there around 6:30 p.m. because we were hungry. A lady asked in the kitchen, and we were able to get served. In the entrance area, I noticed several certificates for pizza making, and you don't just get those. Strangely, the waiter brought disposable plastic cups with the wine, but at least they brought wooden cutlery. The pizzas were unbeatably delicious. We've rarely eaten such good pizza. It would have deserved 10 stars. The service was also super friendly, so you could have given it full marks. If you could work on the ambiance a bit, you would definitely be number 1 in the place! But for us, that also includes a larger wine selection, real glasses, cutlery, and plates – no pizza in a box. This gives it the feel of a fast food joint, and you could work on that. Italy is a country with a huge PFAS problem; even the drinking water here is already extremely contaminated. PFAS and plastic cups (part of which is TFAS) are perpetual chemicals that you'll never be able to get rid of. They'll make you sick, very sick!!! Far from it, I have no intention of interfering, but I like you and care about your health. Plastic on every corner, and in a restaurant, too?? It shouldn't be that way. Still: Top recommendation for anyone who wants to eat a really good pizza. 👍🏻

Great Neapolitan-style pizza. Very good ingredients. The only minor drawback is the plastic cups, even for wine.

A basic pizzeria right in the city center, with sloping tables and equally basic service. INCREDIBLE pizzas; my wife called it one of the best pizzas she's ever eaten; the crust pizza is truly unique. With a single pizza, we spent €65 for six of us. The pizzas are well-topped and the pasta is delicious. Here's a tip: make a reservation, because they'll get angry otherwise. Seriously! It's worth eating here! We'll definitely be back!

Super good pizza, quality ingredients and the pizza is super stuffed. Courteous and always available staff, location in the Campiglia pizza small village simply spectacular. We are not from the area but when we come to Campiglia as soon as we can we go for sure to eat a good pizza. Thanks as always and see you next pizza. Keep it up guys.
