The restaurant was renovated a few months ago and is now very comfortable. The food is well-cooked and the staff is prompt and courteous. Obviously, during the summer months, being a seaside resort, the town gets very busy... so the noise level in the restaurant depends on the season. But we always go against the grain. Good wine selection.

Passing through Viareggio, we were looking for a place for an aperitivo. Unfortunately, many places are closed in November, but luckily, not Il Pinolo! Quiet atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, and fast service. The crostini we received with our aperitivo were delicious, freshly prepared and with quality ingredients. 🔝 We decided to try Il Pinolo's focaccia. What can I say? It was truly excellent, a 10 out of 10! I also want to thank the two gentlemen behind the counter (I think they're the owners), who were courteous, professional, and smiling! I highly recommend it.

The venue has been renovated for several months now, much to the delight of the owners and the public. One of the main nightlife hotspots near the sea in Lido di Camsiore.

We stopped by chance for an aperitivo at the nearby restaurant of the same name when we spotted the option of dining just a few meters away at this restaurant with limited seating... the experience resulted in excellent cuisine (some dishes out of the ordinary), excellent wines (there are truly so many, for all tastes and budgets), just the right amount of elegance, and the two young managers, very approachable but not overbearing, kind and polite, ensured we enjoyed a lovely evening at their establishment at a reasonable price for the type of food we ate. We were satisfied with the quantity as well as the quality... we will definitely return when we pass through Versilia.

05/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant on Christmas Day and overall the experience was positive... The food was very good and plentiful, with well-prepared, high-quality dishes... The service was excellent, attentive, and well-organized, impeccably coordinated by the maître d', who was always present and professional. The only downside was some organizational issues: the parking lot proved too small for such a large event, forcing several guests to park in the parking lot, risking getting dirty. Furthermore, the dining room was quite small for the number of people present, making it very crowded and noisy, with too much noise. Despite these flaws, the quality of the food and service remains a definite strength.
14/12/2025: Very good food, beautiful atmosphere, excellent service! I highly recommend it, especially for Christmas and family lunches/dinners. Merry Christmas!

05/03/2026: We have been there with colleagues, and it was an amazing experience! The antipasti was great, so is risotto and tortelini! Secondi dishes were amazing as well! The only weird plate was zuppa inglese. But the service, food, and the atmosphere were definitely worthy!
