Chef Mancino is a real guarantee, he has been able to adapt the Neapolitan cuisine by aiming it at the Tuscan one, finding himself inside the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte. Three tasting menus with different itineraries, all sublime.

I had a great time, I liked the food a lot and the proposal was varied, refined but also with flavors that were very traditional for me and in fact I really appreciated certain choices. The best of all, perhaps, however, was the red mullet and the truly surprising starters.
The location obviously speaks for itself, and is something wonderful, but also the plates, ceramics, cutlery and glasses are truly beautiful and original, always perfect for every dish. Personally I can't find any faults.
Big compliments to the guys who accompanied us through the experience, all super prepared, impeccable and attentive to everything (they didn't let us touch a bottle or even a teaspoon for the coffee, they pampered us and served us with attention in everything). We were looked after by the Arab girl from Morocco (who served us and the next table) who managed to take time for everyone, explaining the dishes to us calmly and precisely. It also surprised us how he was able to seamlessly change from French to English to Italian between tables without leaving anyone without service at any time. Obviously, no less important, the sommelier was also very, very polite and very knowledgeable about everything but never invasive, always warm and not cold in his dealings with us (as often happens in many places where we are always treated with politeness, but also with a certain detachment which I personally like less), but in general the whole prince's team made us feel really at ease from the moment we entered. In short, for me and my family it was certainly the best experience in a restaurant we have ever had, both from a culinary point of view and for the experience itself, truly another story.

2-Star Michelin well deserved. Every Sunday at lunch, they offer a €110 pp five course tasting menu which offers items not featured on their regular dinner menu and changes weekly (go to their site to read the menu proposed, make a reservations, add special requests like roses or a birthday cake, and list any allergies). Very generous portions. An amuse-bouche, three choices in bread with olive oil, first serving of appetizers with three bites, second serving of appetizers by the chef from their asian partner restaurant, a pasta dish, a main entree, a desert, and small chocolates or pastries and coffee or tea. Each Sunday they feature a different wine label and offer pairings for €30-60 depending on the label and how many wines you try.
They recently refreshed the restaurant space, adding luxurious carpeting, and a sophisticated mixed interior design honoring the 100 year history of the hotel with moder art.
The service was beyond impeccable. Warm and unpretentious. Every team member had extensive knowledge of the restaurant, hotel history, the chef, and the dishes even if the dishes were new.
The hotel itself is an oasis. From the very formal and welcoming doorman, to the washcloths and small glass bottles of acqua panna and san pellegrino that are free and at the door for your convenience, to the three various waiting areas and elegant bathrooms. The hotel has an underground garage, and I'm sure valet, but in this low season there was ample paid street parking.
The music in the restaurant was a wonderful soft modern jazz version of Christmas songs, the kind that takes listening to the words to even realize they were Christmas songs. The window boxes of beautifully trimmed bushes play peekaboo with glimpses of the turbulent sea across the street. These chairs were some of the most comfortable we have tried in any restaurant. We asked for a more private table when we booked, and they made sure we were seated in a section alone and even closed the semi partitions so no one could observe us.
With our long list of allergies, dietary restrictions, and intolerances, they perfectly adjusted the menu and graciously met every need without us ever feeling like a burden.
The smiling staff and immensely relaxing lunch was followed up with a small tour personally by chef Mancino. Originally from Salerno, he's made this place his home for the last 20 years. Passionate in providing high luxury experiences to an international clientele.
We definitely will return but will stay in the hotel so we can try Chef Mancino's award winning huge breakfast buffet (that has a sushi and Asian corner, a middle eastern corner, a pressed juice bar, and an egg spread that offers several different types of eggs, including the rare purple and green chicken eggs, quail and ostrich).
It's rare for me to so enthusiastically give an all around five star review. It's even more rare with a sensory processing disorder and so many dietary intolerances, have such a truly relaxing and enjoyable one of a kind meal.

Warm environment with attention to the smallest details! The dining room staff is very kind, ready to respond to even the slightest request or question. It is not a simple dinner, it is absolutely an experience from start to finish, in fact the passion of the chefs shines through in every single dish.
