I'll start by saying that the 3 stars given to the food are due to the fried food, and ONLY for the fried food, and nothing else. In fact, I gave it 4 stars overall. The place is tiny, right on Viale dei Mille with a small outdoor terrace. Make a reservation because they seat about 35-40 people maximum. We were outside; I had requested this when booking (I have a puppy, and it seemed more practical to sit outside). I was worried about the noise from the avenue, but to be honest, it was less of a problem than expected. There were two young waiters who were very kind and professional, especially the young man who served us. The menu has a few à la carte dishes (and that's fine, it guarantees fresh, carefully prepared products) and a good selection of catch of the day or specials of the day. That evening, there were several fish per kilo, cooked in various ways, and two express dishes, an appetizer and a first course. We ordered two à la carte first courses: spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood spaghetti) and linguine with crab, scampi, and shrimp (I don't remember the name of the dish). Both were very good, but my only complaint is practical. The crab, placed in half on the plate, even if divided between the shell and claws, takes quite a while to be properly enjoyed. Meanwhile, the pasta gets cold and overcooked, which is a mortal sin. Perhaps it would be worth serving the crab already cleaned, with only the claw to be split, to still create a show. Nothing to complain about the ingredients, excellent and perfectly cooked. MY problem comes with the fried calamari, shrimp, and cod. The calamari were cut into strips, not rings. The strips were rather dull, neither crispy nor attractive; tender, yes, but tasty. There are many ways to fry, everyone has their own, but generally you expect something crispy and tasty, lightly seared, those strips were not. The shrimp was shelled, and I don't like that either. You expose the heart of the crustacean to the extreme heat of the oil, while using the shell instead protects it, another questionable choice in my opinion. The flavor was good, but the texture was bordering on overcooked. The cod was cod; I don't know why it would be included in a mixed fry. Kudos to the homemade mayonnaise, but it was perfectly fine for a snack, since we're not at a fish and chips place. It was a bit disappointing, that's all. I was expecting something else. Ultimately, based on what I ate, I CAN'T SAY THE FOOD WAS BAD, ON THE CONTRARY. Maybe I'm just being a pain in the ass, but fried fish is something that deserves serious consideration, and I enjoyed it just fine. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. The overall 4 stars are precisely because we had a good time overall. We left feeling full and with a little extra cash left in our wallets, which doesn't hurt.

Family-run seafood restaurant, managed with care and professionalism down to the smallest detail. I come often and have never been disappointed! I recommend the tagliolini with red shrimp or lobster, my absolute favorites. Excellent restaurant near Florence.

Le restaurant ne paie pas de mine, mais la qualité, l’accueil et la gentillesse sont là ! Il y a une petite terrasse de 12 m² pour 16 couverts (en plus de la salle principale) : une véranda avec porte et fenêtres électriques. Le tartare de denti est excellent (je n’ai jamais vu ce poisson à la carte des restaurants en France, mais peut-être y a-t-il un moratoire comme pour le mérou…) ! De même que le denti préparé « All’Isolana » : un délice ! Le poisson vous est présenté entier, dépiauté, par le chef, puis retour en cuisine pour vous être servi en filets. La présentation est vraiment soignée Vaut le détour !

19/09/2025: Absolute best meal I’ve had in my three week trip to Italy. You must eat here, we will definitely be back! We got the spiced beef pita and aromatic chicken pita. Along with the savory pastries. Everything had so much flavor and texture. Large portions and great service! Highly recommend this place.

14/09/2025: There were many employees and guests. The pizza was big and delicious. It was good and the price was reasonable.
11/09/2025: A really nice little pizzeria with very fair prices and a well-kept, typically Italian atmosphere. There was a bit too much cheese on the Margherita for my taste, but as I said, that's a matter of taste.
