Il Piccolo Lido Pizzeria In Alghero

Great pizza quality, with a variety of flavor options on the same pizza. Service was a bit slow when it came to drinks. But overall, highly recommended. A complimentary shot of mirto (a drink somewhere between pacharán and resoli, made with berries) was very good and digestive.

We were 4 people on a Sunday evening in il piccolo Lido pizza. The concept is quite interesting. You order 1 meter Pizza and can select 3 different tastes. We ordered Marese, Anchovi and Diavolo. In total the pizza looked great but was not the best pizza unfortunately. For me it was too oily and could have been for some minutes longer in the oven. The meter was completely enough for us. All in all, interesting experience but definily the pizza quality could improve.

The pizza is excellent, served on a half-meter-long board by very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

I don’t know how the food is, but it’s not “Il piccolo lido” anymore ; it is “Zi Renato” now.

We were very impressed with this restaurant! Piccolo Lido is centrally located, right in front of Alghero's port, a pleasant stroll from the historic center. Despite the heat and the dining room being completely packed, the owner was extremely kind and found us a table right away. The entire staff was welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Excellent service from start to finish, which is not a given when there's such a large crowd. Regarding the food, we tried their platters and it was a fantastic experience. I think the idea of ​​organizing the menu by offering platters in "lengths" (a quarter meter, half a meter, one meter) to be placed in the center of the table is simply brilliant. It encourages sharing among diners and is a wonderful convivial solution! We chose a half meter of raw seafood and a half meter of cured meats. The raw fish was excellent, incredibly fresh, beautifully paired, and enriched with delicious fresh fruit. The meat platter was equally amazing; you often find cured meats that aren't the best quality, but that was definitely not the case. The quality of the ingredients here is truly top-notch. We enjoyed everything so much that we literally left nothing on our plates! The bill was also a wonderful surprise; we spent just the right amount, without overpaying, and it was a truly fair value for what we ate. In such central locations, one often expects the classic "tourist trap," but Il Piccolo Lido completely defied this cliché with its professionalism and passion. Everything was accompanied by a local Vermentino, also at the right price. Congratulations! Everyone was truly talented and kind. We'll definitely be back! (I've attached some photos.)

A fantastic location right in front of the entrance to Alghero's Old Town, overlooking the sea. But the view is just a bonus to THE BEST PIZZA WE'VE EVER EATEN!!! And that's no exaggeration. We often travel to Italy and have eaten pizza from more than one oven 😋 But it was only at this restaurant that they showed us what the real thing tastes like... Pizza by the meter. Half a meter is enough for two people. Thin dough that melts in your mouth. Three, maximum four, fresh ingredients and the recipe for a pizza bomb is ready 🤩 We had the Diavolo with spicy salami and the Parazola with radicchio salad. Kudos to the chefs 👏 Just thinking about this feast makes my mouth water. The service was friendly and efficient, although they could use more smiles. The prices may not be cheap, but the food is truly worth it. When cheap flights to Alghero become available after the season, we'll plan a city break just for this pizza 😋 During our two visits, most of the guests were Italian. Even entire families. That's a testament to something. We highly recommend it ❤️.

I had dinner at this restaurant. I ordered the platters, and I was satisfied with them, they were good. I recommend them.
