I was a guest at a wedding dinner.
Truly wonderful location with breathtaking views and a beautiful garden.
Excellent quality food and drinks.
After lunch and the cutting of the cake there was an open bar until late (we left around 11.30pm) and around 11pm they served a very welcome spaghetti. The idea of an ice cream stand offering the stracciatella flavor which I discovered was invented here was also nice.
Magical atmosphere, one of the most beautiful weddings I have attended.
Congratulations to the newlyweds who chose this fantastic place!

'Il Pianone' is really an amazing restaurant in Bergamo upper town.
It has an amazing view on the large plain below (from here comes the name 'Pianone', which actually means large plain).
The view and the outer space (there is a large garden) are actually the strong points of the venue. In fact it is a popular destination for weddings and special celebrations.
The interior recalls both classical cascina (farmer's mansion) with plates exposed in Richard Ginori style.
Food is also good. The menu includes both meat and meat plates.
Definitely advised if you are in town.

Ristorante con vista mozzafiato su uno scorcio della città di Bergamo. Atmosfera decisamente suggestiva ed elegante. Grande cura dei dettagli. Personale professionale e preciso. Proprietari molto eleganti con grande conoscenza del proprio mestiere. Esperienza da provare. Consigliatissimo.

Bellissima location servizio attento. Purtroppo gli antipasti sono risultati inadeguati per sapore, dimensione e prezzo. Primo di pasta con sugo di pesce ben eseguito, secondo a base di costolette d'agnello molto gustoso. Sinceramente mi sarei aspettato cmq un livello complessivo ben più elevato. Come sempre dipende dalle aspettative iniziali. Peccato!

locale decisamente elegante sia all'interno che all'esterno con un panorama mozzafiato. Menu gourmet molto ricercato e di buon livello. Ottima la carta dei vini. personale molto cortese. Discreto il rapporto qualità-prezzo
