What an incredible experience! This place needs no reviews, it is a star by itself and I would pay twice the price for everything again. No only they have an astonishing & amazing views but the service, by the owner is 2nd to none. We were amazed with the excellent dishes and its presentations. We felt like in heavens here! After two weeks in Italy, this place was tops! If you really appreciate the local Italian cuisine and their exquisite wines, this is the place you would enjoy.

Amazing place with a fantastic view. I just have no words for the food - fantastic. The service - high level. I will come back here again. I recommend anyone who has a way to Bergamo to stay here for lunch or dinner

The Il Pianone Restaurant was an exceptional discovery thanks to dear friends! The location is simply spectacular: a panoramic terrace that offers an unparalleled view over the entire city of Bergamo. I can't imagine what it's like to see the sunset from there. The service was impeccable, with attentive, friendly and always available staff. The kitchen? A true triumph of flavours! Dishes with attention to the smallest details, with fresh and high quality ingredients. Varied and well-balanced menu, with an excellent selection of wines. Il Pianone is the ideal place for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. Elegant but welcoming atmosphere, where you feel truly pampered. We will definitely be back!

Ristorante molto bello con vista su Bergamo bassa, ampio parcheggio, personale molto gentile e professionale. Abbiamo cenato in 4 con Tempura di baccala', polpo, branzino in crosta di sale e per finire 4 ottimi dolci fra cui.un fantastico tiramisù, tutto veramente ottimo. La padrona di casa poi ci ha fatto visitare la loro cantina che un tempo era una polveriera , molto interessante con molti vini datati e di questo la ringraziamo. Ci torneremo.

30/05/2025: Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying an evening of good food. The staff is very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The dishes are carefully explained by the waiter, while the chef — passionate and competent — takes care of personally presenting the wine, with detailed and engaging explanations. A real pleasure to listen to him. The dishes? Out of this world to say the least. Each course is a discovery, so good that it's a shame to finish it. I absolutely recommend this place and I can't wait to go back. The prices are in line with the quality and experience offered: fair if you're looking for something that goes beyond just eating.

24/05/2025: Very characteristic location in the very center or almost in Bergamo. Excellent value for money, speed of service. Definitely recommended and definitely worth returning to
22/05/2025: Extraordinary value for money both for lunch and dinner. Traditional dishes offered at affordable prices. For lunch with €13 you can have a full menu (first course, second course, water, wine and side dishes buffet) while for dinner the price goes up to €25 (€30 if you choose the option with a first course bus). The items on the menu are not many and those present are well prepared (the sauce for the vitello tonnato has more mayonnaise and capers than tuna but for the rest the dishes are good). Amazing value for money in a lively and picturesque environment
