Des mets savoureux et typiques. De bonnes bières. Un personnel aimable. Massimo nous a donné des explications intéressantes et nous a servis en étant à notre écoute. Il a fait l’effort de parler français. Nico aussi un serveur agréable. Un très bon moment dans un bel endroit.

By now I've lost count of how many dinners and lunches I've spent in this restaurant, what can I say... I can't help but highly recommend it. Definitely try the appetizers, both cooked and raw. But the jewel in the crown is the friendliness and absolute professionalism of Maitre Angelo. It has now become routine to go there even just to say hello.

Excellent experience! All the staff are competent, courteous, attentive and kind. The dishes were sublime, the service was impeccable and the location was beautiful. Excellent wine list and excellent products.

Nice atmosphere, but a bit like a waiting room. Service ok. Eating without love and without a real taste experience. Worst meal on our trip. Too bad.

Verspäteter Flug aus Köln, Transfer von Brindisi nach Gallipoli - und dann zu sehr später Stunde ein sensationelles Abendessen: Degustazione di antipasti “Il Pettolino”, frittura di calamari e gamberi bianchi, spaghetto del Duca alla cacio e pepe con guanciale croccante, Rosé Wein Calafuria Salento.

La Saletta - Hotel Ghalà

08/11/2024: We received a very friendly welcome here. The staff is very nice and helpful. The lady who served us in the restaurant on the first evening was very nice, attentive and hard-working. On the 2nd evening the staff was very inattentive. The guests at the next table who came after us were already eating before our drinks had even been served. At some point we received our drinks and bread, which was immediately put in front of all the other guests, upon request. We ordered half a liter of wine and received a liter. There is plenty of free parking available at the hotel on private property with a gate. This is a good hotel for this price-performance ratio.
18/09/2024: A very respectable 3 stars. The location in itself does not offer a top view but it is convenient for being able to go to all the tourist locations in Gallipoli and the surrounding areas. Spotless rooms, very kind staff, à la carte breakfast with local and fresh products included in the price. Possibility of internal parking included in the price. Very satisfied with my stay for work reasons, I will certainly return.
