We were pleasantly attracted by this restaurant, in the old village of Gallipoli, we tasted the fish dishes, amberjack, spaghetti alloscoglio and turnip top. A bottle of susumaniello, and a dessert. 50 euros each, in the middle of August. See you next time 😘

We had dinner in this restaurant on 04 August 2024 on the recommendation of a local friend of ours. Truly beautiful location, located right in front of the sea.
Friendly staff and particularly attentive to customers. Excellent food, especially the "cacio e pepe risotto with lime prawn ceviche and tomato concassè" and the fried food.
Particular attention is also paid to gluten-free foods.
Definitely honest prices, considering overall what the restaurant offers.

Very nice place, they have a beautiful terrace outside where you can eat overlooking the sea, too bad you only have to eat à la carte and not pizza to sit outside.
Inside is a gallery with shops next to the tables but this does not detract from the beauty of the place.
Waiters helpful, kind and very professional.
Quality food both the dishes and the pizza are top.
I recommend the ice cream made by them drowned in San Marzano.
Good choice of wines and craft beer.

Decent place with a beautiful view!! It has pizzeria ( Indoor seating) and restaurant serving mainly seafood (outdoor seating). Went there without reservation and were lucky to get a table.
We ordered grilled catch of the day (Sea bass), Fried Prawns & Calamari and swordfish meatballs. Fish was really good, but it is served without any sides except for some green leaves. It was also a nice gesture to debone the fish, so it is easier to eat.
Other dishes were average and could have been better!
Service was nice and quick. Prices are comparatively higher than other places in Puglia region- not sure about Gallipoli though!

Restaurant not suitable for tables: there were 30 of us and some dishes were missing, after pointing this out to the waiter who took the order, he replied that if there were errors it was our fault, not his, and in general it was a little courteous throughout the dinner. Good food, but average. I don't recommend getting wine from the area.

My boyfriend and I stopped to eat here a few nights ago. I immediately noticed the attention of the staff towards the customer, very helpful and efficient. Unfortunately the food didn't impress me, the croutons with butter and anchovies were really hard. When I mentioned it I was told that I wasn't the only one who had experienced this that evening, they offered to make it for me again but by then I had already eaten it all on bread. Besides the croutons, the first courses were good but a little bland. The beautiful location and the friendly staff.

La romantica Gallipoli, vista dalla balconata del ristorante IL PETTOLINO e la chicca che non poteva mancare. Primo eccellenti come la frattura e i dolci preparati dallo Chef. Sevizio top cortesi e attentissimi. Bravi continuate così.
