Exceptional, light pizza with fresh ingredients.
The place is very cute. It has tables both inside and outside, and there's even a children's area inside. The prices are reasonable.
The staff is friendly and helpful.

We experienced exquisite kindness from the staff. The pizzas are truly delicious (this is Naples, after all). The salads are rich and plentiful. The chips with the skin on are also very special. The speed of service is commendable. And the price is more than adequate. It's also located on a very quiet street (though not as picturesque as many others in Naples)...but sometimes it's nice to escape the hustle and bustle. The location is also close to the port, Piazza Plebiscito, and Via Toledo. I think it's hard to ask for more without going to a luxurious place.

Il Peperoncino Birichino was an excellent food experience. We had the bufala alla caprese, risotto alla pescatora, and the Genovese alla napoletana. We also enjoyed a bottle of the house white which was a delightful Napoli local wine. If you are in Napoli the pasta genovese is a must try. When the pasta first arrived it was under cooked and slightly crunchy. We told the waiter and they took the plate and came back with a new one within a few minutes, perfectly al dente. They also gave us a discount and some meloncello to make up for the mistake. It was the best pasta I have ever had. The mozzarella was so fresh and the seafood risotto was delicious. The atmosphere is also beautiful. Definitely try this place, you won’t regret it!

We came with friends from Naples and had a MEMORABLE buffalo mozzarella Margherita with pepper. The pasta with Genovese sauce was also delicious. Very friendly staff. A delicious lunch during a stroll through the city center, near Piazza Plebiscito, with Pino Daniele playing in the background...highly recommended!

Trovato per caso.
Ci hanno fatti accomodare subito e un uomo molto simpatico ci ha subito consigliato la margherita con bufala e la pizza fritta, suggerendoci di dividerle così da assaggiare entrambe.
Dopo un veloce sguardo al menù abbiamo deciso di seguire il suo consiglio, scelta ottima.
Ci arriva subito la Margherita con bufala ed è amore a primo morso.
Appena la finiamo arriva quella fritta, ben farcita e molto buona, gusto particolare.
Personale molto cordiale, anche con il nostro cane e prezzi giusti.
Pizza fritta, margherita con bufala, acqua, 2 coca cola e coperto 32€.
Un po’ spartano l’ambiente ma alla fine in un ristorante si va per mangiare.
La consiglierei? Si.
