Great food & wonderful service! The tomato & mozzarella salad was delicious. The Cacio e Pepe was incredible. They also have amazing wines. Definitely come and eat here!

One of the best pasta dishes we had in Italy. We ordered pasta carbonara and lasagna, which were delicious. The outdoor setting is very cozy, typical of an Italian village.

We had pizza and lasagne there. Pizza was not good but lasagne was better. They changed us 3.5 euro for still water!!!

Yesterday I tried lasagna and pizza in Italy for the first time. The lasagna was not bad, but the pizza was really disappointing. The ingredients didn’t blend together at all, the cheese was very little, the artichoke had almost no taste or aroma, and the olives were completely flavorless. The only good part of the pizza was the tasty crust. On top of that, we were charged €3.50 for a jug of ice water, which I find unreasonable. It’s not a huge amount of money, but it doesn’t feel welcoming at all. Overall, it was not a good experience and I do not recommend this restaurant.

Finally I ate a proper meal after a few days in Rome. Il Pannicolo restaurant is located in a nice little street away from the hustle and bustle of central Rome. Enjoy the food and service if you’re around. The apple fennel salad was fantastic, and the Napoli pizza (with anchovies) was huge for one person, but I’ve finished it all - it’s really light and very tasty.
