A family run Italian Michelangelo. It’s as if you’re walking into a cave made of original stone surrounded by bottles of wine from every region of the country.
Wine knowledge is 10/10, service is top notch, and hand down the best carbonara pasta I have had in my entire life! Call me crazy but I love to pair carbonara with steak and their Castelmagno fillet is mouth watering. This is my recommendation.
Please, if you’re passing through Genova, stop by for the carbonara.

Excellent cuisine, with a wide selection of first courses (including gluten-free pasta).
The main courses are meat-only, but there are some vegetarian appetizers. The atmosphere is small but welcoming.

A visit to Pampino is always a guarantee. Typical Ligurian dishes are exceptional. The first courses are delicious, but a special mention goes to the beef fillets. There are various types, all mouth-watering. The young, smiling waiters explain the dishes and offer recommendations based on your tastes. Well done!

A well-deserved 5 stars for the quality and deliciousness of the food. When you walk in, don't expect a huge location or a presentation that makes you wonder what's on offer, but rather dishes that fully reflect the menu. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and at Pampino, you truly eat what you order. I think it's truly important these days to find a chef and a cuisine that focuses on the substance rather than the appearance. We'll definitely be back! Open Mondays in Genoa!
