Clean place where tranquility reigns. Very kind dining room staff. The food never disappoints. The price is adequate for the quality of the products (we spent around 34 euros each leaving the restaurant full). Recommended for those who don't care so much about form but about substance!

UNBALANCED QUALITY/PRICE RATIO
Let me start by saying that this is a place where quality, all things considered, is there. But I have the feeling that "cash" is made with the very few, sporadic presence of customers. With two starters, two main courses, two desserts and "house wine" we spent €112, with a completely unnecessary reservation. If we compare this place to a place at the Recetto di Candelo that we use to celebrate anniversaries (of which, for the sake of correctness, I omit the name), where the cost of a far superior quality dinner in a "magical" context, which it ranges from appetizers to desserts with bottled wine, where you have to book weeks in advance to get a table, it is around that same figure, you realize that the quality/price ratio mercilessly and unequivocally condemns the Paiolo.
I repeat, however, that I still left satisfied after tasting unusual dishes such as "Duck Speck" and "Roast Goose" and a truly intriguing dessert with raisins, grappa and cinnamon. But, after having frequented some places (even though they were undeserving of rejection), the feeling of having wasted money remains strong.

We were there on April 25th on the recommendation of a friend, a clean and quiet restaurant with an excellent menu choice, specifically
Fantastic Valsesia cheese risotto and appetizers with a good balance of flavours, local lard and a platter with delicious cured meats and cheeses..
The wine list is very good with Piedmont in the lead

Very good hot appetizers, EXCELLENT Panissa (we were also offered an encore!), warm hazelnut and almond cake with zabaglione, wide choice of wines, honest prices. Small place, better to book. Room a little dark but overall pleasant. I recommend it
