I have been coming back every year for 20 years. It remains a confirmation of quality. Very helpful people and the customer is at the center. About the food excellent wonderful place.

Restaurant discovered randomly at the top of a small hill. Excellent ! Friendly staff, delicious food! We had a black Angus rib with vegetables, all cooked in the fireplace, delicious! The only downside is that the menu is only in Italian and the prices displayed do not correspond to the rate applied. We suspected that an Angus rib for €6.50 was not possible but in the end, 75cl of wine, a rib of Angus beef, vegetables (half a potato, a pepper, a tomato, half a zucchini, 2 slices of eggplant, half an onion) and a tiramisu and a pana cotta, total €112.40. Given the quality of the dishes it's not excessive either but there were 2 of us and compared to the prices we had understood it was surprising. Excellent place all the same with very good food and unusual decor.

They welcomed us as if we had always known each other... super friendly waiters and Oscar-winning grill workers! Seeing them live is more beautiful and you appreciate the food more... super positive experience

Excellent meat, very nice place and friendly staff. The only flaw is too full, there is not the right distance between one table and another.... A real shame!

Ambiente familiare, personale gentile, cibo di ottima qualità. Sia i crostini che i primi molto buoni, la tagliata ottima cotta al punto giusto e servita sul fornellino per tenerla in caldo. Ottimi i dolci. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato.

Per me il posto del cuore. Lo frequento da oltre 35 anni. Ambiente caldo, casereccio, di famiglia. Maialino e agnello alla brace da urlo. Anche le pappardelle e tutto il menù di altissima qualità. Sempre eccellente.....

29/03/2025: Delightful place on the hills above Florence, still close to the city, therefore easily accessible. It feels great in the garden with the enchanting view. However, the food remains the main attraction, Tuscan food, the dish contained 8-10 tortelloni, almost double that of normal restaurants, the sauce was excellent. The cost of 3 courses with house wine still remains under €50 per person. Definitely just going back again.

06/05/2025: A truly memorable lunch! We have been several times already, and it never disappoints! The Osteria Porta del Chianti is a small jewel immersed in the tranquility of Falciani. The menu is a journey into the most authentic Tuscan flavors. We tasted several dishes and each one was a confirmation: tagliatelle with white ragù and porcini mushrooms, tortelli with wild boar ragù and tagliatelle with nana sauce – all excellent, with fresh pasta and rich seasonings. Among the second courses, the stew with vinsanto, the sliced ​​meat with lard and rosemary was tender and tasty, and the lamb chops cooked to perfection. The house red wine accompanies the whole meal very well, rounded and pleasant. Finally, the desserts: semifreddo with berries, tiramisu and grandmother's cake served warm - one better than the other, but grandmother's cake deserves a special mention: simply not to be missed! Warm welcome, rustic but refined environment, attentive service. Fair prices for the quality and quantity. Thanks to the owner Francesca!
