Retro atmosphere, clean, friendly and fast service. Very good typical cuisine, absolutely honest prices including good local wine in bottles and not in bulk

Characteristic restaurant perfectly inserted in the ancient village of Caminata. Suitable both for a quick lunch break, with typical local products, and for a dinner with friends based on stone-fired meat, a house specialty. Owner and staff very kind and helpful. Advised!

Excellent restaurant, excellent friendly service from the staff. Positive surprise meat to the stone. Fried dumplings as good as any, dry to perfection, accompanied by a platter of quality cured meats and cheeses. Close the dinner with a delicious coffee affogato. Advise.

We stayed at the Cuckoo's Nest and had a really good time. The fried gnocco is excellent as are the cured meats and cheeses, as are the 2 first courses we chose: tagliatelle straw and hay with porcini mushrooms and pappardelle with wild boar ragout. The desserts are also very good, where you can feel the hand of the cook. If it happens again, we will definitely be back

Cozy place, very well looked after and welcoming. Don't miss fried dumplings, cold cuts and cured meats. The first courses, pisarei and fasoe and meatless tortelli are the best ever in the area. Perfect cooking with attention to detail. Absolutely to be promoted 👍

28/07/2024: Sono stato in questo ristorante parecchie volte ma da un po’ non ci andavo. Eppure è a pochi minuti da casa. La qualità continua ad essere alta, il servizio impeccabile, non sbagliano nulla. Crudité ricche e gustose, tagliolini con gambero rosso e ricci di mare super, gratinati sempre top, grigliata di pesce impeccabile, polpo arrosto con patate perfetto, moro con verdure sorprendente. Alla fine tutti contenti. Prezzi onestissimi per la qualità assicurata. Diversi amici a cena nella stessa serata, si vede che è apprezzato.
16/07/2024: Prima volta a cena, in questo locale a Piacenza. Consigliato da amici e viste le buone recensioni si decide di cenare a base pesce in questo locale. Ambiente carino, con personale molto gentile, servizio veloce. Entree della casa, tonno in coulis di pomodoro e erba cipollina. Crudite di pesce, pesce gratinato, tartare di tonno come antipasti. Tagliolini gamberi rossi e ricci di mare, paccheri ai tre pomodori con tartare di scampi, ottimi primi piatti. Frittura di paranza, molto buona . Dolci al cucchiaio molto interessanti, caffe, acqua e prosecco Valdobiadene in accompagno. Veramente una interessante scoperta, un locale dove ritorneremo. Veramente consigliato. Prezzi in linea con quanto degustato. Molto, molto bene. .
