The place is nice, the food is very average, the lasagna was very good but my friend's pasta was undercooked and much too salty. €9 for a coke and an ice tea… + €3.60 for service (and €3.50 for water even though there is a free drinking water fountain 3 meters nearby).
I advise looking elsewhere rather than settling here to eat.

We loved it. We went to Il Mozzicone by chance, looking for places with atmosphere near the Vatican and it satisfied us in every way. A spectacular carbonara and cacio e pepe, with great taste. It took a while to come but it was worth it, outside, it wins a lot, because you can see the street and the atmosphere is very nice. The delicious tiramisu, and the price-quality ratio is good.

Excellent place. We had lunch after a long and hot day. The restaurant is air-conditioned, the staff is very helpful and most importantly the food is excellent! We ordered spinach and ricotta ravioli and Cacho a Pepe which were just perfect. Highly recommended!

I came 3 years ago and it was excellent. This year the pasta is still just as good but the sauce or seasoning is different. I recommend it if you like peace and good service near the Vatican.

Whoever gave this restaurant less than 5 stars has no idea about food in Rome and should stick to McDonald’s. This is our third day in Rome and first time trying this place. The food is the best we’ve had so far, super fresh, the waitresses are extremely friendly and it’s just good vibes all round. Highly recommend.

Very nice restaurant, in a beautiful and quiet place. The cuisine is excellent, everything was very traditional and tasty. The children ate their fill, and the wine was wonderful for me. THANKS to the staff!

A borgo Pio, buon locale ma prettamente turistico. Mi spiego, piatti della tradizione ben fatti ma non speciali, porzioni abbastanza abbondanti, ma ingredienti di non elevata qualità. Possibilità di mangiare all’aperto. Servizio gentile e veloce, attenzione verso i bambini. Prezzi normali. Tornerei sicuramente a mangiarci, ma si trova di meglio nei dintorni.

Busy tourist-oriented restaurant close by St Peter’s Square. Swift cheerful service and a pleasing diversity of well presented traditional Italian comfort foods. Quaffable local wines by the glass or by the bottle.
