A top-notch restaurant! Il Moro offers a unique experience, a journey between Sicily and Brianza. Each dish embodies technique, storytelling, and passion. Savoring the various dishes feels like coming home. Starting with "eggplant and smoked provola," with the bold flavor of sun-kissed eggplant from Sicily. Moving on to "squid and pepper," where the freshest fish is presented with ingenious plating. Finally, dessert, and a special mention goes to "Era la cassata," a veritable explosion of flavor thanks to the artisanal candied orange peel. The service is also impeccable, from the entire staff. A special mention goes to the maître d', Antonella, whose professionalism pampers and guides you throughout your tasting. We can't wait to return.

I visited Il Moro in Monza. The restaurant seats a maximum of about 30 guests in a simple, elegant setting with meticulous attention to detail. The contemporary decor, featuring artwork and thoughtful lighting, creates a refined and intimate atmosphere, ideal for a romantic dinner or special occasions.
The restaurant combines Sicilian tradition with Brianza culture, offering contemporary gourmet cuisine based on biodiversity, seasonality, and sustainability.
Various options are available: an à la carte menu and three tasting menus.
I chose the "In Sicily with Butticè" tasting menu. A surprising gastronomic journey, combining Sicilian tradition and contemporary technique in a perfect balance of taste, aesthetics, and identity. Excellent ingredients, meticulous presentation, and intense yet never overpowering flavors.
The service was impeccable: welcoming, attentive, and discreet.
The price was in line with the exceptionally high quality of the offerings.

Excellent service, top-quality ingredients, creativity and care in the preparation of the dishes, inventive presentation, and finally a touch of friendliness from maître d' Antonella Buttice' and chefs Vincenzo and Salvatore Buttice'. I stumbled upon this fabulous Sicilian restaurant online, and it was a real surprise. I had a very specific goal: to surprise my wife for her birthday. Choosing “Moro” turned out to be a wonderful surprise for both of us. In the heart of Monza, in an intimate and charming atmosphere, surrounded by elegance and references to our Sicily, we were welcomed by impeccable, attentive, punctual, thoughtful, never intrusive service. We opted for the Sicilian menu (there is also a menu dedicated to Monza and Brianza and another dedicated to Italy).
Chef Salvatore Butticè greeted us and his sister Antonella, maitre and sommelier, pampered us, recommending a wine suitable for our choices, introduced us and accompanied us on our culinary journey and shared with us our
Sicily, between her Agrigento and our Catania, recalling the beauty and importance of the land and family. The menu was a continuous joy for the palate: from the “Sicilitudine del gambero di Sicilia” to the “Tonno Mediterraneo” accompanied by tuma persa and apricot. Followed by the Rice with Sardines and the paccheri with pistachio and shrimp that brought us straight home with the heart. Followed by another sensory experience that amazed us for flavor, pairings, freshness and refinement: the fish accompanied by fennel and citrus fruits. This was the dish we loved the most, with the awareness of wanting to eat it again. Next, the duck with lettuce and capers; then the dessert: the cassata proposed in a version beautiful to look at and even better to remember for me, while for my wife, intolerant to almonds, Antonella suggested two cannoli that represented a new authentic journey of flavors in Sicily. What can I say: it was the right choice for a special evening. We entered curious, we left aware of having found a marvel that we will find again very soon. Absolutely to try and love.

Location molto bella e curata in cui ho trascorso una piacevole serata. Servizio un pochino inesperto. Cucina più orientata a chi mangia il pesce, poche alternative invece per chi cerca una alternativa. Qualche imperfezione nei piatti che ho preso. Ci tornerò senz'altro per apprezzarlo maggiormente.

Per un pranzo in coppia abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione Ri-Conoscenza per sentieri brianzoli. Un omaggio dello chef alla terra in cui vive. Profumi e sapori tradizionali sapientemente reinterpretati, danno vita a piatti estremamente grintosi come la rossa, nocciola e uova di lago e i bottoni alla cacciatora. Il servizio è stato estremamente accogliente, contribuendo a rendere la nostra esposizione molto piacevole. Un posto in cui torneremo volentieri.
