A dinner we will never forget – simply extraordinary!
Last night my partner and I had a gastronomic experience that we will hardly be able to surpass. Il Moro di Monza is not just a restaurant: it is a journey through flavors, care, and true Sicilian excellence.
Literally, an unforgettable dinner. Every dish was poetry, every pairing a discovery. We still wonder how it is possible that it does not already have a Michelin star – but we are sure that it will arrive very soon, because they are already making a great way to the top!
The service? Impeccable. The kindness and professionalism of the owner in the dining room, who guided us with intelligence and southern warmth in choosing the wine. Lucia, with her sweetness and overwhelming friendliness, made us feel pampered from start to finish – like true kings.
And then, the chef: he came to greet us personally, with humility and passion, underlining how the work of the team is the true beating heart of the kitchen. A gesture that says it all.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Il Moro: you gave us a unique, sincere, precious experience.
We left full of gratitude (and happiness).
We will be back. Very soon.

most beautiful lunch of Sicilian cuisine using seafood and soya sauce . Relaxed setting
in monza just nine minutes by train from Milano Centrale. The chef degustation menu is a two hour affair ordered by the table . The shrimp and tuna are both amazing

We came for our wedding anniversary and were very satisfied. Having chosen the Sicilian route, we enjoyed several dishes prepared and presented with imagination and delicacy, including spectacular seafood appetizers and excellent rice. Courteous and efficient service. Exceptional bread. The only complaint about the food is a dish described as 'Duck, lettuce and capers' on which there were no capers.
The reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that at the end of the meal, the waiter offered us a very small cannoli and then an amaro, and both my wife (Italian, so it's not a question of understanding the language) and I understood that they were on the house; instead we found them on the bill. I emphasize that it is not a problem to pay for what we consume and I never assume that I will be given extra things for free, but perhaps we would have chosen differently if it had been clearer.
This is a detail and I still recommend the restaurant for those who want a special dinner.

I have been to this restaurant several times, a very welcoming place. Top staff, no exceptions. The dishes are elaborate, but still reminiscent of tradition.
It is a truly pleasant time!

We took a tour that took us to Sicily. All the staff is really courteous and competent. The bill is not exactly cheap, but it is fair for what you eat and how you are pampered.

Location molto bella e curata in cui ho trascorso una piacevole serata. Servizio un pochino inesperto. Cucina più orientata a chi mangia il pesce, poche alternative invece per chi cerca una alternativa. Qualche imperfezione nei piatti che ho preso. Ci tornerò senz'altro per apprezzarlo maggiormente.

Per un pranzo in coppia abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione Ri-Conoscenza per sentieri brianzoli. Un omaggio dello chef alla terra in cui vive. Profumi e sapori tradizionali sapientemente reinterpretati, danno vita a piatti estremamente grintosi come la rossa, nocciola e uova di lago e i bottoni alla cacciatora. Il servizio è stato estremamente accogliente, contribuendo a rendere la nostra esposizione molto piacevole. Un posto in cui torneremo volentieri.
