Il Molisano In Ciampino

I would like to point out that for the sake of fairness I reserve the fifth star to have a margin in the reviews, the restaurant/diner at Vincenzo il Molisano is historic, he is from the same town as my mother and by coincidence he opened in Ciampino where I was born and lived with my parents, I remember it since I was a child (I'm 55 now). It is family run and courtesy has always been at home, having said that....the cuisine considering everything is good and simple, it ranges from various pastas to main courses and side dishes already prepared, we took some spag hetti with clams better than some restaurants that pass off the level of quality, the fried calamari was tender and dry...simple but good...excellent for a quick stop, clean and tidy location...and Vincenzo can still be found in Kitchen!!!!!

I ordered a fish-based menu for lunch on Sunday. I stopped by to pick up everything and I'm sure I'll be back as it was all delicious and very fresh. Thank you!

I have ordered home delivery several times. But today they have outdone themselves, the veal meatballs in sauce are phenomenal, something spectacular. But every time they ordered everything was always good, from the pasta to the pizza. But meatballs remain my favorite

We come here often and just as often for takeaway Every time the food is excellent, as is the environment and the kids HIGHLY RECOMMENDED💪💪💪

I have known "il Molisano" since 1986. It has never disappointed us. My children had lunch there from Monday to Friday for 5 summers with Happy time. Always all good. It is still one of our favorite restaurants today. Very good pizza. I brought researchers and scientists from all over the world there. No one has ever left the place dissatisfied. Vincenzo is a gentleman from another era. Efficient, effective, polite, very kind daughter and grandchildren. They don't deserve bad reviews at all. I can't wait to visit them after the renovation. Exceptional takeaway dishes.

I have eaten almost every day in this restaurant for more than thirty years, never once have I doubted the goodness of the products and the quality. The cuisine is excellent, the service is excellent and the prices are fair. Now I live far from the Molise area but as I end up in Ciampino no one will take away a lunch from me

It allows for a quick, quality meal. I doubt there is anything with the same characteristics in Ciampino. *** 22.04.2024 Review update. Excellent carbonara! Just as there is no discussion about meat-based dishes and the various lasagne and cannelloni. Unfortunately we are not there on the fish. Cod fillet arrived with a cold heart. Probable frying of still frozen product, perhaps thawed hastily and badly in the microwave. Pasta with prawns, olives and cherry tomatoes: completely disconnected, the cherry tomatoes almost raw. Jar olives without stones. It was practically plain pasta. I hope this update can be a reason for you to improve.
