I was in Florence due to a company meeting, my colleagues brought me here to the cat. I ate pasta, potatoes and provola, mascarpone, water and coffee. I can say that it felt like home, everything was very spontaneous, the food was as good as the price. I can't wait for the next meeting in Florence!

Very welcoming and budget friendly trattoria. A basic but good menu and very reasonably priced drinks. Small family run place probably not changed much in style over the years which suited us very nicely.

It is our second time in Florence and we did not know this area, a pleasant surprise with Restaurante II Micio due to location, quality and price. It is not touristy and we loved that. The girl who helped us was super nice. 100% recommended

The prices are low but in fact, the quantity is limited for the price I find, especially the toppings which are sometimes less. It's more like a canteen. Otherwise the server was nice.

20/12/2024: There is nothing to complain about. Delicious food, next to your own vineyard with decent wine. Close to Sting's estate. Beautiful views from the pool...simply in the heart of Tuscany. We were there 2 years ago and we are also going on holiday next year, although we rarely come back to the same place twice... but it's worth it.
10/11/2024: Very nice restaurant, good food but the somewhat grumpy staff asked for something and it was slammed on the table.

02/01/2025: This church was associated with two very important monasteries, first with the Cistercians (until 1628), then from 1628 to 1888 with the Carmelite nuns of S. Maddalena de' Pazzi (who are now in Careggi). It is currently home to a community of Assumptionists. While the Carmelite nuns were here, Maria Maddalena de' Pazzi was proclaimed a Saint in 1669. Among the illustrious nuns who lived there, we remember the Florentine Ven. Maria Minima Strozzi, Maria Serafica Orlandini and Francesca Teresa Falconcini together with the Lucchese Maria Maddalena Trenta of venerated memory.
05/11/2024: It is not so much the historic and precious walls that make this place a spiritual niche, but rather the uniqueness, friendliness and warmth of the Augustinian fathers of the Assumption who, with devotion and love, serve for the kingdom of God.
