IL Michelaccio In San daniele del friuli

A charming spot in the heart of San Daniele with prices in line with the area. The atmosphere is well-kept and the stay pleasant. The staff is a sore point... The waitress walked past us "idle" and never asked us what we wanted. We had to stop her to order. The table was dirty (drinks from the previous person) and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Anyway, she was kind and polite... not a waitress.

Michelaccio is a nice little place in the heart of San Daniele del Friuli, perfect for a relaxed break in the historic centre. The place is nice, with attention to detail, with a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to stop by even just for a quick spritz. Speaking of spritzes: 4 euros (without appetizers) for a glass well made and served with grace. In these times where prices are rising everywhere, finding such a central place with such an offer is definitely appreciable. Perfect for an aperitif before dinner or for a stop between one walk and another. Nothing pretentious, but done well. And this is very important today.

Always in transit on the way there or back for an Aperol or Campari Spritz. From the outdoor terrace you can easily follow the goings-on in the center of San Daniele. There is a constant coming and going of old and young, locals and tourists. . . . After half an hour we left again. . . Until the next stopover six months later!
