Il Mestolo In Siena

Every time I go there I always have a great time and I have the opportunity to appreciate excellent fish dishes that are always different and with new combinations. The dish with the catch of the day has satisfied me every time, always cooked to perfection whatever the variant, I recommend it. Excellent desserts too. Nice and quiet environment. Prices are not exactly cheap, but you pay for the quality.

Food was really great but I didn’t realize that I had two glasses of wine. I thought the first one was just for testing as I requested, and the portion was too small. But when I got the bill it was also charged.

Ottimi piatti di pesce, ma anche i pici al ragù presi da mia figlia erano molto buoni, come pure la costata di manzo alla griglia, tenerissima, saporita e cotta alla perfezione! Personale gentile ed attento alle esigenze particolari. Grazie!

Encontramos este restaurante bastante por casualidad, pero fuimos tan afortunados que lo hicimos. Habíamos estado teniendo un día muy largo y estresante y estábamos en nuestro camino de regreso a nuestros alojamientos justo al este de Siena y decidimos cenar en nuestro camino. Usando Google Maps localizamos Il Mestolo que estaba relativamente cerca. Encontramos la ubicación, aparcamiento en la calle detrás de la entrada delantera y entramos por la parte trasera a un patio precioso. El restaurante todavía no estaba abierto, pero el personal era acogedor y amable. Nos invitaron a sentarnos en una mesa y tomar una copa hasta la apertura. El entorno era precioso, el servicio muy atento y la comida era maravillosa! El tamaño de las porciones era el correcto. Nos dijeron que este restaurante es principalmente frecuentado por los lugareños. Recomendamos encarecidamente a aquellos que viajan en Siena y sus alrededores hacer un punto de visita a Il Mestolo.

Excellent cuisine, accurate and efficient service. The place is welcoming and quiet (at least on Wednesdays... 🤓). Highly recommendable

A restaurant that looks inconspicuous from the outside, but everything is ok inside. Great service. Had the 5 course menu. Sensational, big compliment to the kitchen. Highly recommended.
