Il Mestolo In Siena

I went to this restaurant for the first time today for lunch with my girlfriend. The staff was extremely courteous and accommodating, the service was absolutely impeccable, and the quality of the food was top-notch... as well as a culinary experience in terms of flavors. My only small constructive criticism was that the spaghetti was a bit salty, which contrasted a bit with the fish, but again, it's a constructive criticism. The price? It's definitely an expensive restaurant, but it's also definitely a truly high-end restaurant, so you pay for quality. The 5 stars are well deserved. Thank you

The food was incredible and the service was the best. They even made us special, off-menu items: a fantastic steak and potatoes and a delicious cheese butter pasta for my kid. A great bonus: they taught us how to taste and spot good olive oil. Highly recommend going here for the great food and fantastic staff. Grazie and arrivederci.

This restaurant is stand out - the freshest food, every dish was delicious. Great wine selection. I dined with my family and it was the best meal in Siena we had. Must visit!

Excellent value for money. The vegetables were prepared with respect for the product and were very tasty. The fish was incredibly fresh. We'll be back!

I was very unsure whether to give it 3 or 4 stars. Given the ridiculously high prices, the food should be of equal quality. The flavor wasn't bad, but I have some concerns about the freshness of the fish; some cuts were tough. The atmosphere is elegant and the staff is courteous, but the final bill was truly disproportionate to the amount offered. In short: not a bad experience, but I'm not sure I'd return given the lack of consistency between quality and prices.

Excellent food and very kind staff

We had such an amazing lunch! Not only was the food amazing (I would say Michelin star quality) but the staff was also the most friendly. They made us feel very much at home. Compared to places in the city centre of Seina, this place is super easy to access with its own parking space. For the quality of the food it is super affordable. You must visit this place if you’re around!!

Pleasantly surprised by this amazing restaurant. Full of locals which is always a good sign. The scallops, lobster pasta and the octopus were phenomenal. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Experiences like this make an Italian holiday sublime. As a dessert the ricotta ice cream with figs or the cheese cake.
