The best carbonara I have ever had in my life, they were super friendly, they had everything reserved in half an hour and it still served me well. I would return for sure.

WELL, what can I say…. Hands down best carbonara in Rome. Small and authentic place with open kitchen, with very kind and attentive staff. Among other things, despite having made the reservation in another location, they welcomed us without problems. We will definitely be back!!!

The atmosphere of this place is something else. Everything you can look for in Rome is there. The music, the staff, the food. Simple great cuisine. Don’t expect to spend hours there but to share a great moment eating great food. Great carbonara at the counter Try the Maritozzo as well, they are very good Friendly staff and great chat with the cooks ! Highly recommended

Very small place, suitable for a hit and run. Very good savory maritozzi but the carbonara disappointed me... creamy yes but the bacon very salty and the pasta tasteless. Then eating on plastic plates with plastic cutlery and still paying 14 euros seems excessive to me.

A place discovered a bit by chance, but it has become the fundamental destination for all those who come to visit me! They make the best carbonara in Rome, and I love their savory husbandzzi. Cozy and intimate place. I also recently did a masterclass to learn how to make carbonara and the chef is very nice, like all the staff!

Decisamente una delle migliori carbonare di Roma. Tonnarelli freschi dalla consistenza e cottura perfette, crema sostanziosa e corposa, mantecata alla perfezione, guanciale tagliato a sigaretta e di ottima qualità. Il piatto è profumato e godurioso, oltre che bello da vedere, sicuramente vale una visita. Ottimo anche il maritozzo al tiramisù, l'impasto è eccellente, soffice, scompare in bocca e risulta neanche troppo dolce, quasi neutro. La crema ben sostenuta, generosa nella quantità e ricca nel gusto. Il lato negativo dell'esperienza non è nell'offerta ma nel contesto..Il locale è microscopico, i tavolini piccoli e scomodi, considerando che i nostri piatti non potevano neanche essere posizionati uno di fronte all'altro, tanto era stretto lo spazio.. L'appendiabiti tampona un po' la situazione.. E un po' fastidioso, invece, l'odore di cucinato e di fritto che dominava l'ambiente, dato dalla cucina a vista. Nel complesso l'esperienza è da fare sicuramente e torneremo per saggiare la proposta di maritozzi salati ma il format del locale è più vicino a un mordi e fuggi, piuttosto che a un posto dove poter passare del tempo..

Zona Trastevere, ambiente curato, personale gentile e alla mano... ovviamente dato il nome abbiamo deciso di aprire le danze affrontando subito i loro maritozzi salati, saporiti e sfiziosi... a seguire, visto che i carboidrati non ci spaventato, la carbonara, intensa e ben condita, con una crema tutt'altro che leggera, ma dove i sapori si distinguevano tutti... conto in linea con gli altri locali della zona... consigliato!
