A pleasant discovery, with limited but intimate seating, perfect for a romantic evening in the charming village of Lajatico. Typical Tuscan cuisine with game dishes and meat specialties. Excellent service and a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress. Recommended.

Very nice and cozy restaurant in Lajatico. We dined on a small terrace that overlooked the interior with a view of the surrounding buildings, a little limited in space and without any panorama. The staff is welcoming and we ate very well. We had as appetizers a beef tartare, very tender and fragrant, really excellent, and a very good seasoned carpaccio. Followed by two slices with vegetables, also very tender. The red wine chosen, an Antillo di Bolgheri, Guado al Melo accompanied the chosen dishes. Coffee at the end. Very good guys, they definitely deserve a reward.

The dishes on the restaurant's menu were delicious, I can recommend the honey pork tenderloin, the terrace was packed. Everything was fine for us, I can recommend it.

Il Maramaldo in Lajatico is a true treasure! From the warm welcome to the authentic Tuscan cuisine, our stay was simply wonderful. We didn't test the rooms, we were only there to eat. The restaurant spoils you with delicious, regional specialties that are prepared with a lot of love. There was only one little thing that wasn't right: the espresso wasn't drinkable by Italian standards. The hospitality is remarkable and you immediately feel at home. The location in Lajatico is ideal for discovering the beauty of Tuscany. We can highly recommend Il Maramaldo and look forward to our next visit!

Abbiamo pranzato presso il Maramaldo per il pranzo di Pasqua. Ottimo servizio e ottimo cibo: pici col sugo di cinghiale, ravioli con ricotta e spinaci al burro di salvia appena preparati freschi, tagliata di manzo deliziosa. Posto assolutamente consigliato. Sofia seplicemente fantastica! Da tornare! 😃
