Personally, I did not find my experience at this restaurant positive. I had dinner with my girlfriend, we ordered 2 first courses (aglione and ragù) and STOP (...)! Little choice of vegetarian dishes, not very extensive wine list, with a fairly large markup on wines. First courses cost 14 euros (...) both for pici all'aglione and for tagliatelle al ragù. Very edible dishes, but nothing exciting in my opinion, objectively I also expected slightly more substantial courses, given that we are not talking about a haute cuisine restaurant. Very pushy service (especially when we were choosing the wine) and not very punctual. Cover charge made without bread, but that's okay. I only took 2 first courses and 1 bottle (and that's already too much). With more effort and a few precautions it could be much better.

Enchanting place immersed in the greenery of the Alberese park. Possible indoor and many outdoor seats with gazebos and smoking area with sofas and illuminated tables. Incredible care, of the greenery!! Impossible to find fault with the cuisine, typical traditional dishes with that touch of passion that makes everything tastier

During a short stay in Maremma, we found this tavern by chance and immediately fell in love with it, so much so that we wanted to return the following evening. The staff is welcoming and kind and the location is surrounded by greenery with several gazebos under which to eat, allowing you to spend the evening in perfect tranquility and with plenty of space. The food was all of excellent quality and with a good quality/price ratio. They were two truly enjoyable evenings.

Our pursuit of the great "Crazy Chef" Franco Arturi Vulcanis, has brought us to this new location in Maremma, his latest culinary adventure. The place is very nice, the staff courteous and the service fast and accurate. Surely a great reason to stop here but now, with the great Franco in the kitchen, it is not a valid reason but imperative. I have reviewed Franco's cuisine on other occasions and I can only repeat and confirm what I always say. Franco is a rare person, exactly a mix of factors, like his cuisine. Just as his personality is a mix of sympathy, cordiality and availability, his cuisine is a mix of knowledge, creativity and tradition but also great respect for the foods that make up his excellent dishes. Just to mention those of yesterday evening, personally, I chose the Maremma liver arrosticini wrapped in bacon, a delight, and his peposo, which I had already had the pleasure of tasting in a previous adventure of his in Florence. Already the peposo, I spend on this dish an extra note that confirms one of Franco's talents. The famous peposo dei fornacini, which is eaten in Tuscany in many versions but Franco's is an "ancient" version, much closer to the original one, without many useless elaborations in this case and above all, without the tomato, which today accompanies it almost everywhere but which here is, obviously and totally extraneous given its history. Great Franco and beautiful place in the Maremma Doc of Alberese!
