The atmosphere was truly heartwarming – it felt like being welcomed into a family’s home. The chef seemed to read our minds and knew exactly what dish we wanted, even though it wasn’t on the menu. The food was outstanding, and the price was even better. We enjoyed delicious house wine at a surprisingly low cost. All in all, an unforgettable experience that combined warmth, intuition, and incredible flavors.

A true pearl on the sea! Il Mandracchio is an experience that goes beyond a simple lunch or dinner: it is a journey into the authentic flavors of the Gaeta sea. A suggestive location, with a breathtaking view of the port, an elegant but welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a family lunch. The fish is very fresh, cooked with mastery and respect for local tradition. Each dish is a masterpiece, from the delicate raw fish to the light and crispy fried food, up to the dreamy seafood first courses (I highly recommend the calamarata or the ravioli filled with fish!). The wine list is also well-curated, with excellent selected labels. The service is impeccable: courtesy, attention to detail and genuine smiles that make you feel pampered from the first to the last minute. A restaurant that deserves more than five stars. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the best of seafood cuisine in Gaeta.

Trattoria informale, ci siamo fermati nei tavoli esterni per una pizza sabato sera e domenica sera ci siamo tornati per il menù di pesce. Rapporto prezzo/qualità ottimo. Pizza, gnocchi mare e monti, frittura, dolci veramente gustosi!

Unfortunately I didn't think to take pictures! Welcoming atmosphere, kind staff, pampered with some homemade fritters but: mixed soutè appetizer which I found out what it consisted of. It should have been mussels, razor clams, clams; in reality there were more mussels, a razor clam full of sand, therefore not purged and 5/6 clams in a very salty sauce. The seafood was good but overall the dish should be improved. The first dish my husband took was linguine with clams which just by looking at it didn't give a good start and in fact they were drained little and certainly not sautéed in the sauce of the clams which were placed there randomly. Good fried food. The prices are quite high for what we took.

After all, there were only positive impressions. Pizza is not bad, but more than that. Perfectly cooked fish and pasta! Friendly atmosphere. I recommend for everyday visits.

Surprisingly the food was great! The service is a bit weak, but it makes up for it with the excellent quality of the food! The staff is friendly! Clean! Delicious! I recommend!
