il Malabar In Milano

During our stay in Milan, we found this restaurant that serves really delicious Kerala food. We liked it so much that we went there twice! The food was amazing . The porotta was soft and fluffy, just like it should be. The kappa biriyani was full of flavor, and the ghee roast was so tasty. Everything we tried was really good – there was nothing to complain about. The people there were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. If you’re in Milan and miss Kerala food, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll for sure come back next time we’re in the city! 5/5 – Loved it!

The food and service are good, but the atmosphere outside the restaurant was bad.

We went with the family for a birthday. If you expect the usual Indian you will be disappointed: you will not find the usual dishes, very difficult at first to orient yourself and choose, then there is no tasting menu which in these cases could help you discover new dishes. In general, good and tasty food: excellent bread, abundant and spicy meat dishes, vegetarian dishes however a little too sweet for our tastes. The drinks are worth trying, the mango one is fantastic, the one with yoghurt and salted ginger is an experience, but with spicy it's fine. In the end we were happy to give it a try, although I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon

The place is aesthetically ugly. But the food is very good. Best Indian I've ever eaten!

The best authentic Kerala restaurant in the whole north Italy. Their malabar porotta is the best with its flaky texture. The porotta with their signature beef ullarthu is 👌. Their hot sizzling beef kizhi porotta, meen pollichathu and kappa + fish curry are also a must try.

We had dinner for four at this place. We ordered porotta, nadan chicken curry , beef fry, chapathi and fish curry. The fish curry was out of the world!!! The food was served hot and with very authentic taste! The only draw back was the order came in pieces rather than whole. So we often had to wait alot in between but I guess it was also due to very late dine in.

Authentic Kerala (South Indian) food in Milan. Their fish dishes are very good. Nice and friendly staff. A must try. The prices are very affordable.

That was really great! A great meal (everything freshly made). And the two waitresses were very accommodating and friendly.
