Very relaxed place (uncomfortable chairs, though), good food (but a bit sparse on the plates), efficient service. The bill was a bit steep (100 for two, including a bottle of wine, a first course, a second course, an appetizer, and two side dishes), but I think that's a trend in the area where the restaurant is located. We'll definitely return, perhaps to try other local dishes.

Meat, of course, dominates all dishes; the pork is top-notch, but the steak is no exception. Excellent wine list. Prompt and competent service. Prices are moderately high, but commensurate with the excellent quality of the dishes. We'll be back.

Locale molto accogliente, prima volta in questo ristorante... abbiamo mangiato dell antipasto di salumi di loro veramente molto buoni, tartara eccellente maialino buonissimo e la loro rosticciana x finire un buon dolce...che dire veramente tutto ottimo qualità prezzo ottimo personale molto gentile, ci torneremo complimenti.

La patria della Ciccia della Val di Nievole, nella storica Macelleria del 1930. Carnì di Allevamento selezionato da decenni, frollata da 2 a 4 settimane. Salumi di produzione propria. Buonissimo il tagliere di salumi così come i crostini ed i carciofi fritti. Ottimi i pici, la farinata di cavolo nero, il maialino da latte e sopratutto la loro Fiorentina di Razza Limousine. Ottima carta dei vini, prezzo corretto.

01/10/2025: Excellent place for a meat-based dinner with a lovely view. We returned after a few years, and the quality and service are still the same.
20/09/2025: A restaurant nestled in the hills near Montecatini Terme, with a beautiful view (recommended at sunset). To get there, it's best to take your time along the road, as it's quite narrow. In September, I found a good number of tables full (mostly locals), so the waiters were a bit sloppy but still helpful. The selection is varied and focused on meats, including Florentine steak and sirloin. Among the dishes I tried on my way here: mixed bruschetta, Alpine-style sirloin, and cantucci with Vin Santo. I really enjoyed the sirloin, as it was perfectly cooked, and the porcini mushrooms on top (photo) had a tender texture and intense flavor. I recommend it for a quality dinner, even for special occasions.
