It changed management towards the end of 2024. The environment has remained the same as before, warm and welcoming which leaves room for intimacy. The service was good and the waiting times were minimal even though the place was quite full. The dishes are not excessively refined and there are few but satisfying options. The selection of wines is very wide. Two cocktails, two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two desserts, €75 for two

Locale carino in una zona decentrata di Modena, con un menù che strizza l'occhio alla tradizione ma con un'offerta diversificata. La mia prima volta al Luppolo e l'uva è stata senz'altro positiva, soprattutto dal punto di vista culinario. Ho gradito molto i tortellini in brodo, così come mi sono piaciuti gli arrosticini con contorno di patate e la zuppa inglese. Il servizio è cordiale, ma un po' lento ed è proprio per l'eccessiva lentezza che dó un pallino in meno. Conto leggero, grazie alla prenotazione effettuata con The Fork.

Cute, excellent mezzanine for tranquility. Decent dishes, sufficient first courses, good pie, cold cuts that could be improved, good dumpling, excellent steak. High price, but the location is pleasant. I suggest not taking the command from memory.

Nice, well looked after, excellent food, guys, try the bacon. It melts in your mouth. It's become a very elegant little place.

10/03/2025: The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the food and drinks were good too. Thanks for being kind to foreigners :)
08/03/2025: Meeting point if you pass through Formigine. As a group, ten of us had main courses and side dishes plus drinks (wine and sparkling wine). Let's say that in our opinion the portions of meat are a little small compared to the price but we must also say that the quality was there. Some took pizzas that were well stuffed but not very beautiful to look at. Price per person 45 euros, slightly higher than average.
