A charming little place in the center of Como, with a strict vegan menu. Unfortunately, since it wasn't clearly specified (I think it was malicious), it wasn't a completely pleasant experience for me. I'm an omnivore and wanted to have a vegetarian dinner with friends, so we ended up at this completely vegan restaurant. It was very good, but it wasn't the experience we were looking for; we would have liked something softer; we would have liked a traditional tiramisu, for example. The chef's version, complete with secret recipe for the "white part," I definitely wouldn't order it again. Otherwise, the dishes were average, good but not amazing. The atmosphere was charming and elegant, and the wait staff were friendly and attentive.

I had the pleasure of returning for dinner at Il Lughino, a restaurant I've frequented for years and which continues to uphold consistent quality standards. The Valentine's Day tasting menu was balanced and coherent, from appetizer to dessert. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, and the service stands out for its calm attention to timing, a departure from the frenzy of fast-food dining. The menu, deliberately simple, reflects a clear focus on raw ingredients and seasonality. I also appreciated the use of white cotton napkins: a detail that communicates a sensitivity to sustainability and attention to the overall guest experience.
Recommended for lovers of plant-based dining, but capable of surprising everyone.
