Nestled in the greenery just steps from Lake Orta, Laghetto della Gelata is a restaurant where they certainly know how to welcome you. The dishes are well-prepared and delicious. And, something that's not a given in this area, there's karaoke on Fridays! Highly recommended.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and I have to say we had a blast, between the food and the music. But I STRONGLY recommend the restaurant get disinfected because the restaurant is full of bedbugs coming out of the wooden ceiling. I found one inside my napkin, reaching up to my head, and I had to remove another one from my jacket.

We celebrated our wedding at Laghetto della Gelata Sorriso and the experience was truly excellent. Excellent value and impeccable service: we were offered a complete package that allowed us to worry about nothing—decorations, flowers, entertainment, dishes—all handled with great professionalism. The location is charming, surrounded by greenery, with a private lake, ideal for a major event. We absolutely loved it in every way. A special thanks to Nicola, the restaurateur and host: a fantastic person. The food is excellent, and the overall experience is truly excellent. We'll be back soon.

A place I often frequent with friends, the location, food, and staff are all fantastic. I was there on Saturday 13.12.25 and with a DJ and show, it was a carefree evening. We ate very well and Nicola, Francesco, and Noemi were great hosts.

10/05/2026: Beautiful park, they organized a wedding there, very clean and organized down to the smallest detail, there's a fenced lake that's safe for children too! I recommend it 🌟🌟🌟

26/06/2026: Welcoming, no-frills atmosphere, everyone was very friendly, excellent food, excellent beer, really no complaints, only compliments. We hope to return even if we were just passing through.
11/06/2026: A quaint place, their specialty is Paniscia. Excellent wines with a wide selection. The beers are numerous and all delicious.
