Il Labirinto In Viterbo

Portions were generous and staff very kind and welcoming, though a bit rushed with many tables. One primo was enough for a lunch. One night, I got the stracchina stuffed fagottini (like giant gnocchi) with the gorgonzola sauce and arugula and it was DELIGHTFUL. I was so pleased with it, I came back another time for the pappardelle with wild boar simple ragù: speechless. I've lived in Italy 10 years and know when pasta is cheap vs. handmade: this stuff was handmade and delectable. Ideal spot to people watch while you dine, so good for solo-traveler.

It was a great place...but it's closed for renovations until November 28th. Reporting it on Google was a must... I travel from Rome to Turin with a detour to Viterbo just to come here and find it closed... no one answers the phone... not even a message warning of closure... I'll change the review when I come back to eat there.

It was a strange experience, disappointing in the end, because the first gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and truffle was the best I've ever eaten, but the second mixed fry was terrible, very salty, they made a mistake in adding salt, it seemed to have double the triple (if this is not possible) the salt norm. My mouth burned, I've never eaten a savory dish like this. You couldn't really eat it, I left it almost entirely on the table even though I was very tempted, I was still hungry and the quality of the frying was excellent. I pointed this out to the cashier, hoping they would give us a discount or not charge us (they could even taste it to find out), but they just offered us a free coffee... It wasn't enough to make up for the disappointment, I think that they could do more

Welcoming environment, impeccable service 👍

I had the pleasure of dining at the Il Labirinto restaurant in Viterbo for two consecutive evenings, yesterday and today, together with friends, and we were all pleasantly impressed by the experience. The service was impeccable, managed by a team of extremely kind and professional guys. I would like to give special thanks to the manager, Miss Valentina, who welcomed us with great courtesy and friendliness, making us feel truly at home. We brought two little dogs with us and they were welcomed without any problem, indeed, with great attention from the staff. The service was quick and efficient, and we felt at ease at all times. As for the food, what can I say? Simply exceptional! I ordered the chestnut and legume soup for both evenings, a dish that struck me with its intensity of flavors and its perfect execution. My friends also found their dishes equally delicious. The starters were fantastic, prepared with care and attention to detail. To conclude, the desserts and ice cream were a real treat, a perfect ending to an impeccable dinner. If we find ourselves in Viterbo again, we will not fail to return to Il Labirinto for another dinner. Congratulations again to the whole team for the excellent work and the pleasant atmosphere they were able to create.

A pizza with friends.....nice and cozy atmosphere, very characteristic, punctual service, discreet, very fast pizza arrived in record time. Good pizzas in the dough, quite digestible, the ingredients used are also good. Why three stars for food and service? To the food because the San Pellegrino pizza was literally soaked in oil, perhaps removing the anchovies from the oil first would be something many would appreciate. At the service because up until the coffee everything was really ok, that little bit of attention was missing when I touched a cup dirty with lipstick.....it happens!!! However, a recommended pizzeria....I hope to return soon.

Il locale nel complesso è carino, soprattutto in estate perché si cena nella piazzetta antistante. Il servizio è semplice senza attenzione alla forma, tovagliette in carta. Buona la pizza che è nello stile laziale: bassa. Prezzi leggermente sopra la media di zona
