An absolutely positive experience. Dinner with friends from Palombaro at this informal yet meticulously crafted restaurant. The owner and his sons serving were always present and available to explain the characteristics of the dishes we chose and the ingredients they use. The welcome and service were impeccable. The waiters were very knowledgeable about the menu and the individual ingredients (both location and quality). The cuisine was excellent, using only the finest ingredients. They put a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.
The atmosphere was very welcoming, perfect for those who love quiet places that make you feel almost at home. As soon as we entered, we were seated immediately, and we didn't even have to wait long. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant evening at a restaurant, preferably with your partner.

If you're looking for authentic Roman warmth, the kind that makes you feel instantly at home, Trattoria Il Gufo e la Coccinella is a must-visit in Fiano Romano. From the moment you enter, you'll sense a welcoming and genuine atmosphere, thanks to the exceptionally kind staff and an owner who truly knows how to pamper his guests, making you feel part of the family.
The quality of the products is unquestionable: the freshest ingredients are evident in every bite. But let's get to today's star dish, an off-menu item that absolutely won me over: paccheri with pecorino, guanciale, and 'nduja. A stunning balance of flavors, where the crunchiness of the guanciale meets the spiciness of the 'nduja and the saltiness of the pecorino. A dish so good it was impossible not to mop up the bread with their homemade bread, fragrant and as fragrant as the ones from days gone by.
The prices are fair and the portions generous, but it's the love for tradition that shines through in every detail that makes the difference. I've also heard rave reviews about their wood-fired pizza, so I couldn't resist: I'm going back tonight to try it!

Lunch in transit. A cacio e pepe and a plate of tagliatelle with bacon and artichokes were delicious. But the thing that personally amazed me was the tiramisu. Compliments to the owner who even makes the ladyfingers in-house.
