Il Guelfo Bianco In Firenze

We stayed 4 nights at Il Guelfo Bianco and wish we could’ve stayed longer! The location is absolutely perfect—within 5 minutes’ walk of Il Duomo, the Gallerie dell’Accademie, the Santissima Annunziata, San Lorenzo, the Mercato Centrale, loads of restaurants and shops, etc. The staff are friendly and welcoming, greeting us with chocolates, bottles of water, and advice. Our room was glorious, with immensely high ceilings, a comfortable bed, and a view of the interior courtyard. Breakfast is served buffet style every morning with tons of options, including fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt and toppings, cold meats & cheeses, fresh juices, as well as scrambled eggs and a few hot dishes. We could try something new every day (but always a chocolate cornetto and that marvellous fresh mozzarella!). The interior of the hotel is beautiful and I always felt like we were walking through a Renaissance house adorned with modern artwork. I would 100% come back here again and advise any friends to visit as well!

Great breakfast, old school classic rooms, friendly service

Beautiful hotel near the center of Florence. Beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, clean apartment with very comfortable beds. Its location is close to many museums. Excellent breakfast, from sweet to savory, and the coffee was top-notch—hard to find such good coffee, even at a café.

I'm staying at the hotel and can't sleep because of the heat. I can't open the window because there's too much dust. I spoke to reception, but they couldn't resolve the problem. UPDATE: The staff resolved the problem the next day by changing our room. Thank you.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in! You're in Florence and there's simply a fresco painted on the ceiling of your room, what perfection! From the lobby, with sweets and sparkling wine, the incredibly delicious breakfast, with diverse options and everything made with great care, to the walls and corridors covered in art, everything was perfect! Only praise for this hotel, for the wonderful experience! And the location also deserves a mention: close to everything, perfect!

Perfect welcome (the hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful), perfect location, perfect breakfast… Our stay was absolutely fantastic! If we return to Florence, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at the hotel for two days and were very pleased. First of all, I must say that we were able to reach everywhere in Florence on foot. Similarly, we walked from the train station to the hotel. They were helpful with our late check-in. Even though we only stayed for two days, our room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was quite adequate and had enough variety for every taste. The fresh fruit was also a nice touch. Our room actually overlooked the hotel's open space, but since we left very early in the morning and arrived late in the evening, this wasn't a problem. On the day we checked out, our train was late, so they helped us leave our luggage there. It was a very successful hotel in terms of price/performance.

Perfect for visiting the city. Close to the main attractions. The staff is attentive and friendly.
