After booking online for about three weeks without personally knowing the restaurant, my wife and I went yesterday for Christmas lunch. The setting, atmosphere, and service were top-notch. We found this restaurant by chance while strolling through the center of Viterbo. We ordered the chef's menu with spaghetti, guanciale, and pecorino cheese. The rabbit in white sauce with olives and a jam tart were delicious. Everything was delicious. The location is truly beautiful and intimate, perfect for a romantic lunch or dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly. The owner served the tables, pouring water or wine as soon as the glass was almost empty. A wonderful culinary experience. Bravo!

Il Grottino is a restaurant that will win you over with its home-style cooking and rustic atmosphere. The place is simple and welcoming, with attentive and friendly service that makes you feel at home.
The dishes are authentic and rich in flavor. I loved the pappardelle with wild boar ragù, perfect in their simplicity, and the beef braised in red wine, tender and flavorful. The homemade desserts are also excellent, a sweet end to the meal.
The prices are fair, considering the quality and generous portions. An excellent choice for those who love traditional, rustic cuisine.

A refined and intimate atmosphere in the heart of the city center. The owner is attentive to all his customers, making your lunch or dinner an experience rather than just a simple meal. You can choose individual dishes or a tourist menu, but tourist is an understatement because every dish is carefully prepared and delicious. He also offers specials of the day that aren't on the menu.
