For gluten-free options, penne-sized pasta is provided to suit the sauce, and two rice cakes are also needed (questionable as a choice). Given the service trying to be elevated, without any real success, it would be best to avoid these choices instead.
Risotto quite good, overcooked. The rest of the food choices were very good.

Unique experience, we entered a place with a slightly retro look and the waitress was very attentive and always ready to help us. The first unique, the fettuccine was spacey, double and cooked to perfection. Truly a beautiful place, the real gem were the handwritten menus and the fresh flowers on each table. Super recommended

On Saturday evening we celebrated my niece's birthday at Il Grottino in Viterbo, and the experience was simply exceptional. The restaurant is very refined and tastefully furnished, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.
The service was excellent: the staff were friendly, polite and always helpful. Each dish was of excellent quality, prepared with fresh ingredients and impeccably presented. Chef Vittorio delighted us with his delicacies, demonstrating great skill and passion for cooking.
I highly recommend the Grottino to anyone looking for a high -level culinary experience in Viterbo. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic place in the historic center....already at the reception you can see the kindness and concern towards customers....literally fantastic food...from the appetizer to the dessert, everything wonderfully taken care of down to the smallest detail...I recommend it to anyone passing by to try this magical experience.

Esperienza ottima, siamo andati cin amici a Viterbo per la cioccotuscia, l accoglienza del cameriere gentilmente ci ha fatto accomodare al nostro tavolo apparecchiato davvero con gusto e eleganza, abbiamo preso gli antipasti, tante variazioni di assaggi molto gustosi e sopratutto diverso da altri locali che si vedono sempre i stessi piatti. Abbiamo preso i primi. Il cibo ottimo, la pulizia da invidiare, nel bagno delle donne non mancava nulla. Sono pienamente soddisfatta, . Lo terremo presente per le altre occasioni. 10 e lode anche per il cameriere, l accoglienza e la cordialità e la loro forza

Absolut venlig og elskværdig betjening. Smagte antipasti misto som var varieret og fremragende. To lækre pastaretter var absolut også et hit. Pris med kaffe, vand og en flaske god lokal vin var for hele måltidet kun 66EU.
