A historic venue, very beautiful and welcoming inside. A terrace overlooking perhaps the most beautiful square in Vicenza. Excellent canapés and pizza slices. A wide selection of quality wines. A consistently high-quality aperitif.

Excellent sponciotti, good beer, and excellent service. We waited 10 minutes for a table, but while we waited, the guy in charge of staff really worked hard and communicated any changes with incredible promptness and kindness. Everyone works as a team and makes customer service truly efficient and professional. The place is very cute. Don't miss it!!

The history of taverns in Vicenza. I think it's the only one that survives. Fabio is an eclectic and friendly host. The place is worth a visit given its historic past.

We went there for an aperitif, very nice location, very kind staff offered us a typical cake made with bread and candied raisins at the end, a very positive experience and recommended!

A famous and charming tavern in the heart of Vicenza, located beneath the Basilica of Vicenza, hence its name. Always popular with young and old, it has survived unscathed over the years, despite changing hands several times. They serve all kinds of spritz, along with the equally famous spunciotti. Of course, there's also a bar. There's a lovely outdoor area that can be used even in winter. If you're in the city center, it's definitely worth a visit, if only to admire its walls.

We had made a reservation for a group of people, but despite this, the room wasn't ready when we arrived. After ordering, there was an interminable wait, with little explanation and little courtesy. We left without even having eaten the platter we'd ordered, after waiting for almost an hour. It's a shame because the place is worth it.

A nice little spot for an aperitif or a quick dinner. Service can be a bit slow when the place gets crowded.

The place is beautiful and characteristic, there is also the option of sitting outside in the terrace, a good selection of wines and also of beers, good appetizers and fair prices... attentive and fast service, as a pre- and post-dinner drink it's good...
