Il Grottino In Vicenza

Excellent place for aperitifs and snacks. The dishes for lunch and dinner are also good. The staff is knowledgeable and very kind. Recommended!!!

Unfortunately, I have always been from Vicenza, for me it was a pleasant surprise... again seen from the outside, I entered last Friday after a meeting with colleagues. There were ten of us, but despite the time (it was 6.30pm) they immediately found a place for us. Very particular location, in the base of the Palladian basilica

We went a few months ago for an aperitif. We discovered some really special cicchetti: they will have 25-30 types and they call them "spunciotti" (fish, pork, cured meats, cheeses, vegetables and sauces of all kinds). The place is really very beautiful and peaceful. Very friendly staff, we will be back!

Excellent for an aperitif with canapés. Fascinating place exactly under the Palladian basilica. Cute even in summer outdoors.

Beautiful location, warm and welcoming with kind and decorous staff. The menu offers many different dishes, some even vegetarian!

The Grottino is not just any bar. You go to the Grottino to live a different experience, among the historical beauties of our Vicenza, and the modern taste of that break with a different flavor that you sometimes need. When you enter, you feel like you are inside a small intimate cave, in search of that treasure created by a chat between old friends, or an evening in company. The tables outside, however, are a passage to the world: sit and observe the people passing by, stories of the life of a Vicenza that wants to live and loves its city. The only thing to be careful about: Grottino is addictive. One push eight leads another, and you will no longer be able to do without that atmosphere immersed in history.

Historical landmark in the center of Vicenza, well-kept environment and dynamic and courteous staff. Thanks in particular to Fabio for the excellent welcome and service, highly recommended.

The strong point are the canapés/cicchetti, very assorted and tasty. The service was chaotic (over 20 minutes just to get a bottle of water to drink). A little expensive.

Locale bellissimo e accogliente con personale giovane simpatico e cordiale .Abbiamo ricevuto un servizio attento e curato. Ci siamo trovati così bene che ci siamo andati sia a pranzo che a cena lo stesso giorno e abbiamo apprezzato la gustosa polenta e i meravigliosi spuncioni di vari gusti . Lo consigliamo vivamente anche per il rapporto qualità prezzo .

A ridosso della piazza centrale,con vista della cattedrale che quasi si cozza con un palazzo, è parte dell’esperienza vicentina. Ottimi spritz e spunciotti. Personale gentile e posto che merita più visite.
