Wonderful simple food served by warm and welcoming hosts. Really good menu selections, including a very large pizza menu, plus both sea and land main dishes, pastas, and a small but delicious sweets selection (rum cake especially!).

Very cozy, pleasant restaurant, excellent food and prices. Friendly staff. We recommend.

Wow wow wow its fantastic and delicious traditional

I returned to the Grottino after many years of absence. After many disappointments from starred pizzerias in the Bologna square, last night I decided to return to the historic pizzeria in via Albani. I found the same family management as in the past, simple but kind people in a place that is always the same, which I personally don't mind. But the surprise was to find the pizzas I remembered on the menu, classic, without excessive frills but truly inviting. 3 of us placed the order and one of my friends made a mistake, ordering a parmigiana instead of a pugliese. Well, once the pizzas arrived at the table, faced with the disappointment of my friend who realized the mistake she had made, the owner proceeded to replace the pizza within a few minutes. Delicious dough as I remembered and finally Neapolitan pizzas with a nice edge, good quality ingredients and a taste that I haven't tasted in a long time. Well, in the end the bill: 3 pizzas and three medium cokes paid 15 euros each, in Bologna it is a more than honest price. I will resume frequenting the Grottino, a highly recommended pizzeria.

An atmospheric place with an unexpectedly low rating. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven, even the baked fish was very good. A calm and secluded place with a typical atmosphere of old Italy. We recommend visiting.
